Nothing fancy, the room (looking out to an air shaft) was not large, but not too small. Actually there's very little to say about this place except it's location (right in the old centre, close to numerous restaurants, shops etc.) and the price (we paid €35 for a double room). So no complaints AT ALL!

Location: Very central and easy to walk to most things if you love walking :) We walked to all the things we wanted to see and loved the walking in the streets seeing the beautifull buildings, getting some tapas and a drink. Close to the gay bars too and the shopping streets. Room: We had an interiour room and got... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a solo trip of Europe. Considering this was the cheapest of the hotels i have booked to stay, I was not expecting much. However, this was an adequate hotel and I had a really good stay. Unlike some reviews in here, there was always a receptionist on hand and they were... More

The hotel is well located, the building looks nice and the neighbourhood is quiet. The room was comfortable and clean . The minus, I didn't really liked the bathroom "door", it was a sliding glass door that didn't close well and therefore didn't provide much privacy. To the check-in I had to go to other hotel which is fine, but... More

Travelling on à budget and Doña Lola was fine. Good location in THE middle of santa Cruz district. 5 minutes walking distance from THE shopping area and 5 minutes away from à lovely square full of Great restaurants. Good beds, clean and small bathroom. Our room was at the front so à bit noisy. This 2 star hotel was even... More

It was booked for a conference, at 65 € per night. It is relatively clean, good mattress, laminated flooring, and central location. The WiFi was extremely slow, so I switched to my 3G which was faster. If you want to work using the desk forget it because there is no good lighting nor a chair. My room was facing the... More

I was a little weirded out when I approached the hotel because this random guy came up to me and asked me to follow him to another hotel to get the key and check in. It was all very strange and if I were a solo woman I probably wouldn't have followed the dude...but having checked my reservation I noticed... More

There is no reception at the Dona Lola, so check in at the sister hotel just around the corner, there is a map on the door and is all very easy, so don't worry about that. Recent refurbishment has clearly smartened the place up but it still doesn't feel comfortable at all, it's very clinical and cold. Rooms are cleaned... More

the owners are very gentle and to me was nice not having a concierge (they own the close hotel casona san andres, which is just 200 meters away or less). The flaws are: 1. cleaning lady very noisy and brusque. 2. the room at the ground floor in which I was is very noisy. 3. bathroom is small and details... More
