We stayed here for 2 nights and the location is excellent being right next to the bridge and yet also to the 2 main plazas, Plaza Nueva and Plaza Isabel which are surrounded by lots of options for shopping and allow buses to the Albaycín and also to Alhambra. Hardly any noise from a crowded street outside! The rooms are... More

We arrived in Granada by train and took a taxi to Hotel Las Almenas. We were given a warm greeting by Jose at the front desk. We had one of the two rooms in the hotel that has a large outdoor patio on the 2nd. level. The room was good sized and had a nice bathroom with a good shower... More

Good beds, quiet airconditioning, but no breakfast. Breakfast available within 50 meters. Parking garage available at 100 meter (stamp of hotel saves 2 euro/night). Hotel run by owner. Very helpful in giving all information you want. Walking distance from center and Alhambra. Tip: Buy tickets for Alhambra well in advance on-line. Obtain them from the Caix bank (100 meters from... Quite a find in the centre of Granada. Extremely clean, good bathroom and spotless bedlinen. Near shops and restaurants and supermarkets. Would definitely go back if in the area. It is situated in a very busy road but personally I did not find it a problem. there was no breakfast but a bakery a few doors down provided a most... More

Las Almenas is conveniently located near the center of town and bus stops. Public transportation in Granada is very good and affordable. Locals and tourists use it frequently and the busses take you anywhere you want to go. Apparently the hotel is family owned and technology is not their forte. José at the front desk was more than helpful, though.... More

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff (father and son) was very friendly and gave us wonderfull suggestions. The Internet connections are fast and reliable. The hotel has everything what you need. We had only problems with the new climacontrol module - but this was our own deficit in technical understanding and we didn't find a manual for it.... More

We stayed at Las Alemenas for 7 nights at the end of May and it was exceptional value for money. The rooms were scrupulously cleaned every day and were lovely and cool due to the marble flooring, and quiet considering the Acera del Darro is a very busy road. Opt for a room at side or back if you want... More

During our visit to Granada we stayed in this hotel. The owner, usually at the reception desk, can help you with all the information you need. Of all the hotels I stayed in, which are quite a lot, this is the best hotel regarding our experience with a sincere high service level. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

Las Almenas is a great little hotel, with clean spacious rooms and charming decoration. The staff is particularly wonderful: they not only gave my fiancee a friendly welcome and all of the services we needed, but went above and beyond by allowing us to print out our boarding passes in order to avoid horrendous Ryanair fees. Highly recommended.

Small, clean rooms decorated in a Moorish style. Very friendly and helpful chap on the desk. Near enough to all the places you would want to visit in the old town. We walked everywhere. Down sides are no fridge or kettle and the road noise can be obtrusive. Car parking is about 200m away and cost 16 EUR per day... More
