It was very pleasant stay in an old well preserved house. The owner speaks almost no English, but some German. The rooms are small, but accurate. It can be really hot, as there is no airconditioning. Shared bathroom has two toilets and two showers for the whole floor. It is very clean, nothing to complain about. There is no breakfast,... More

I'm going to live my room in a few minutes. The "apartamentos" is well located. Our room small, clean and well organized. It seems to be in another part of the world because of a good smell of "incenso " and all statues. The Lady is lovely but the owner is completely crazy. When we Arrived, for the check -... More

The unit is right off Plaza Nueva... (Calle Reyes Catolicos) look for the Purple sign with Alhambra written on the street corner. Go up the street until it starts to bend left. (You will see some stores selling clothing and bags on the right hand side of the street) Look up for your street sign and you will see P.... More

We wanted to visit the Alhambra and were looking for a nice little hotel in that neigbourhood. This was it! The owner is a very nice man, speaking several languages. The room was clean and small, but had a small balcony. Also you could go to the roof terrace with a nice view over the roofs and up to the... More

We stayed four nights in October in this very welcoming, clean, quiet, and exceptionally well-located small pension. Artwork fills the hallways and classical music plays in the background. The owner provided us with a map and great suggestions about where to eat, do laundry, and explore the city. I highly recommend it as an economical and comfortable place to stay... More

This hostel is very clean and homey, with a lot of authentic spanish touch everywhere. It's like visiting a house of a very prim-and-proper aunt. The owner was very nice and even bring us hot tea in the morning. Our room was in third floor, it was cozy but we have our own bathroom. This hostel has a roof deck... More

- Length of stay: One night, Sun 28th Sep. - Cost: €32, inclusive of tea brought to your door by the owner in the morning! Certainly one of the best place I have ever been in that part of Spain; as far as value for money is concerned. Spotelessly clean room overlooking a very quiet courtyard, quaintly decorated but done... More

Delightful little pension style hotel with small private bathroom close to the Alhambra (viewed from our room and rooftop terrace) and numerous popular tapas places like Bodega Castaneda and Taverna Salinas. The proprietor brought us tea in the morning

We absolutely loved this place; wish we had stayed longer. Location is perfect: halfway up Cuesta de Gomerez, with the Alhambra at the top of the street and Plaza Nueva at the bottom. Hostel is in a quiet courtyard which our room overlooked. We could even see part of the Alhambra from our balcony. The owner is a very helpful,... More

The location is it's best selling point, just at the base of Alhambra. For this and the price 32euros makes it great value. The owner was very helpful and organized. We couldn't book entry tickets to the Alhambra even though we tried 1 month ahead. I emailed the hostal and he booked for us. On arrival he had everything neatly... More
