I was here in June of 2013 and have been meaning to write a review ever since! This hostel was very nice. After studying abroad in Spain, a friend and I organized our own 4-day trip to Granada and picked this hostel. The price for a two person room with it's own bathroom was incredible! Great deal for the money.... More

We stayed two nights in Hostal Alcazaba in April. It is in center of Malaga, but not that close to tourist attractions. You need to walk about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the hustle and bustle of the main attractions and Albayzín. The staff doesn't speak English but pleasant to deal with and the check-in was pain free. We... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was far from special. The walls are thin so we heard everything, the staff don't speak any English but are nice, our bathroom was dirty with hair all over the floor, there was only enough hot water for one person, and the key for the outside door you had... If you want more than very basic accommodation this establishment is not for you. Outside it is classified as a pension, not a hostel. I am there now,in January, the rooms are barely warm, one small radiator just warm. Good situation but very noisy at night and this is winter, refuse collection 6.00am. But very cheap for Granada. Be warned,... More

Anyone who says this place is not good is obviously a rookie traveller. Value for money this place is spot on. Yeah the rooms are basic but me and the missus paid 20euro for a night. The beds were good and the room was spotless. Good location too. We had stayed in a different. Hotel around the corner before going... More

Very inexpensive but nice and clean, run by a couple so charming and friendly that you immediately feel good about this place. Manuel will give you a map of Granada with directions and information and good tips on visiting Alhambra and other places. The pension is close to the historic center, and you can walk there either on the Granada’s... More

It has to be probably the best thing you can find for a cheap price. It is run by a family and they help you with everything they can. Besides the location is just perfect. I would come back again here.

This place was pretty well priced, in a good location, and did what it said it would! It's not a proper hostel so not exactly the place to meet people, but nevertheless had a clean room, decent bed, and our own bathroom so for two of us just going to see the town and the Al Hambra, it was good.... this is an excellent location and room for those travelling on a budget. The owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay letting us know the easiest way to get to places. The only problem we had with the room was that the weather was very very hot whilst we stayed in Granada and the aircon had only just been installed... More

The owner speeks English so is not so obvious in Andalucia. He advices us how to print our Alhambra tickets, and directed us to good restaurants in the area. The hostel had a good location so we didn't need to use publc transport to explore the city. The room was very basic and our bathroom tiny. When we arrived it... More
