It was a lovely little hostel close to the Plaza Nueva and the Alhambra, so perfectly located. Overall it was quiet, the people were nice but barely spoke English. The rooms are nice and very individual with nice colours.

I have just come back from a 5 day trip to Spain with 2 friends to see some Spanish students we hosted last year but chose to stay independently as I wanted flexibility. I have to say I have never stayed anywhere where the hosts have been so friendly and helpful even though we arrived late in fact at midnight... More

Perfectly situated at the foot of the hill up to the Alhambra, right on Plaza Nueva. Spotlessly clean. Carlos and Alicia were great...one could not ask for anyone more helpful, charming and welcoming. Everything possible was done to make us feel welcome and cared for. I was initially concerned about the shared bathroom arrangement. I was needlessly worried. I would... More

The best place to stay in Granada just in the heart of the city! You can both reach the Alhambra by foot if you like walking and enjoy tapas in the famous calle Elvira because it's only one minute of stroll. Also the Gran Via and the other sights are close to it. The room, the bathroom and the showers... More

Stayed here overnight and enjoyed the atmosphere .Quaint. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and no request was to much. We had room facing out on to Cuesta de Gomerez and was quiet. Quoting another reviewer renovations were going on with the buildings opposite but we were up early enough for it not to annoy us.We asked where we could... More

Carlos and Alicia are the best hosts you could wish for! They run the Pension like their home and are happy to help with anything really. We stayed for 7 nights we enjoyed it so much! The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the city close to everything! Our room was clean and had a comfortable double bed... More

I have mixed feelings about the Venecia Gomerez. The rooms were pretty decent. They were large enough and had a sink. The bed was ok, but not terribly comfortable. The TV was very small. There were no hooks on the walls to put your towels after you'd used them, so it was difficult to get them to dry. Carlos, who... More

I have to admit I always avoided to book the hostels and when this time we did book this one we were absolutely fascinated by the atmosphere and conditions inside! my biggest regards to brilliant Carlos and his niciest wife (Olivia, if I remember right) - so friendly, warm and sunny guys! this is what we are looking for when... This is very centrally located so you can walk everywhere easily. Owner doesn't speak English but is super friendly and sweet, and Carlos (reception staff) is perfectly bilingual and gives you his cell number so you can call him (not that we did). He recommended two great restaurants, too. Downside is the shared facilities are a bit grim: a room... More

This is a one floor family home turned into a pension, run buy a family. Location is great. You can easily walk to Alhambra if you don't mind the climb. Right in the center of restaurants, bars and historical buildings. We stayed in room number 1 for 3-4 people. Room is not so big, but lovely furniture and design. It's... More
