I hate to be critical because the people were very nice and did everything to make me welcome. The hotel is lacking in services and style. Everything is rather old fashioned and not terribly well kept. The restaurant was a disappointment - lukewarm food, probably pre cooked, and a very limited choice. Not a terribly nice neighborhood to look for... More

and ours was not great. To use another cliché... 'a smile goes a long way' but the woman working at reception when we arrived was rude and made it seem as though checking us in was a major inconvenience. We speak limited Spanish, but she offered no assistance in explaining the continental breakfast, any of the amenities at the hotel,... More

Located just outside Granada but with free parking, this hotel was ideal for us to leave the car behind and take the bus into the city. As we stayed slightly out of season the hotel was very quiet, in fact we never saw any other guests. Breakfast basic but you won't starve. Only disadvantage was the steep hill from the... More

We used Hotel Cerro del Sol as a base whilst exploring Granada (plus intermittent pool days!) and found it a charming base. I think some of the previous reviews have been too harsh - its a local hotel and family run, the staff are really friendly and will help you any way they can - and yes their English is... More

The good: I chose this place from trip advisor because we had a rental car and were looking for an easy place to get to with parking. Hotel was easy to find and had small off street parking. The hotel itself is very nice with a beautiful bathroom including a towel warmer. Out of our window we had a great... More

We chose this hotel as we had just one night in Granada and knew we would be arriving a little too late to look around the city. The hotel is located in a residential street surrounded by houses. The street is very narrow and parking and turning the car is very tight. We were very disappointed that the restaurant was... More

Most remembered organized and disciplined friendly staff and luxurious interior. My stay was very comfortable. At my requests, I received a response immediately. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Most of all I liked the ratio of staff to guests. The staff was very courteous and kind. Even small misunderstandings and incidents we solved with a smile. I... More

Friendly staff and great customer service. Beautiful views, free parking, free breakfast and we had a great dinner. 15 minute drive to the very popular Sierra Nevada mountains. Overall this was a great hotel, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We chose this hotel based on the ratings here and the fact it had free parking. Also the breakfast was included which was an added bonus. We were able to take the bus to Granada city centre. Bus number 33 at a cost of 1.20 Euro which you pay the driver directly (20 minutes). We also took the bus back... More

Had a lovely stay here Oct 28-30 2013, we had been warned not to think of taking a car into Granada so a hotel with parking was needed. I took the warning of the steep hill into consideration but decided to risk the climb anyway. yes it is steep but being reasonably fit we were able for the ascent. Remember... More
