Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Alhambra and Granada. Lovely large room (room #6) with lounge area, spa and outlook. The hotel was clean and has a nice pool to cool off in. Breakfast was included but was basic, cereal, bread tea and coffee. The location is up a steep hill, thank goodness we were driving. It was a... More

Great hotel. We staid in a very large room with spa bath it was very nice and good value. The view from the pool was fantastic. It was just over a 10 min drive to Alhambra palace car park and about 20 min to the town. Be warned parking is a bit of a knightmare in town the streets are... More

My wife and I spent two nights on our honeymoon here and found it to be just great. We had traveled all day from Morocco, arriving nearly 5 hours late but receptionist guided us in and then whipped up a nice meal even tho it was near midnight. Room was fine, shower too. They bought tuckets to Alhambra for us... More

On arrival, we were surprised to notice that the pool was not in use although it was over 30 degrees hot. Staff said that it will be in use on June (when the hostel price is even higher due to high season). Hostel had an odd rule that no own foods or drinks were allowed. I have never seen such... More

I hate to be critical because the people were very nice and did everything to make me welcome. The hotel is lacking in services and style. Everything is rather old fashioned and not terribly well kept. The restaurant was a disappointment - lukewarm food, probably pre cooked, and a very limited choice. Not a terribly nice neighborhood to look for... More

and ours was not great. To use another cliché... 'a smile goes a long way' but the woman working at reception when we arrived was rude and made it seem as though checking us in was a major inconvenience. We speak limited Spanish, but she offered no assistance in explaining the continental breakfast, any of the amenities at the hotel,... More

Located just outside Granada but with free parking, this hotel was ideal for us to leave the car behind and take the bus into the city. As we stayed slightly out of season the hotel was very quiet, in fact we never saw any other guests. Breakfast basic but you won't starve. Only disadvantage was the steep hill from the... More

We used Hotel Cerro del Sol as a base whilst exploring Granada (plus intermittent pool days!) and found it a charming base. I think some of the previous reviews have been too harsh - its a local hotel and family run, the staff are really friendly and will help you any way they can - and yes their English is... More

The good: I chose this place from trip advisor because we had a rental car and were looking for an easy place to get to with parking. Hotel was easy to find and had small off street parking. The hotel itself is very nice with a beautiful bathroom including a towel warmer. Out of our window we had a great... More

We chose this hotel as we had just one night in Granada and knew we would be arriving a little too late to look around the city. The hotel is located in a residential street surrounded by houses. The street is very narrow and parking and turning the car is very tight. We were very disappointed that the restaurant was... More
