We live in the province of Granada in Spain and took time out to go back to the Alhambra because the Emperor's rooms were open for just a few days this January. The night life around the Plaza Nueva is fabulous with most bars closing at 2.00am and the free tapas they offer means that you have to stop drinking... More

We stayed in a very modern hotel in Malaga before coming on to Granada; and this is a real change - a wooden framed, traditional Moorish courtyard building right in the heart of ancient Granada. We had a deluxe room which boasts of a whirlpool bath - and this was really fun! However the down side to the historical experience... More

Hotel Casa del Pilar, Granada My daughter and I stayed in this small hotel located right off of Plaza Santa Ana. Our room had a small balcony, a very modern bathroom and clean, comfortable beds. We were within easy walking distance to great shopping on the Gran Via, to the Albaicin area, which gave us fantastic views of the Alhambra,... More

We arrived in Grenada and by chance we found our way to this hotels doors with our car... In a one way street - no way to get out - except by reverse... But the receptionist said calmingly "relax - I know what I am doing"... And she knew...! We loved this place from the first minute. We had the... More

Stayed over the weekend, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with toiletries. The location was brilliant, we ride a Honda Goldwing and the parking for bikes was right outside the hotel - so peace of mind for my hubby. However, there was a downside for us over the weekend...we had requested a quiet room as we are travelling on motorbike,... More

Beautifully restored 17thC Hotel in central Granada. Large ‘special’ doubles have original wooden ceilings at €136 (although tourandalucia.co.uk got us deal at €96) but some noise from above - standard doubles at €80 are fine but choose one not opening onto patio which in summer likely to be smokey : and have breakfast in one of many local cafés.

Had a driving holiday around Andalusia and of course stayed one night in Granada, found this hotel on the main square after walking out of the Tourist Office with an accommodation list but little help or advice from their staff. The hotel looks elegant on arrival and the local architecture attracted us. The reception is small and often un-manned, but... More

I stayed in this hotel with a group of friends. It is a small, but cosy hotel, however, the guest rooms and en suites are really big. The service was fantastic and the staff were really friendly, The breakfasts were terrible. We had a busy schedule so needed to leave early in the mornings. However, when we enquired about breakfast... More

Let me start with the biggest positive this place has going for it: location. It's right on the Plaza Nuevo, the minibuses run just a few steps away, the street up to the Alhambra is right here, the Albaycin starts across the street, etc. All good. But the place has left me with a blech feeling about it. After checking... More
