I was ready for this hotel! We had been traveling through Portugal and Spain trying out some moderately priced properties and when we hit this one it made an impression. For the price it is hard to beat. The rooms were just a little larger than the other budget hotels and the location can't be beat. It is a six... More

First off- not a very family friendly hotel, very difficult to manage with young children. Restaurant is EXPENSIVE and few options suitable for vegetarians. The buffet breakfast was superb though and the staff seem friendly enough, however after check in when asking questions at the main desk the staff were not very warm at all. The views are breathtaking and... More

My tastes generally lean toward old formal Hotels, but the Hotel Macia Real De La Alhambra is the exception to the rule. The crisp clean modern lines of the Hotel exterior, is matched not only by the decor, but also the quality of the service. The Lobby is expansive, yet welcoming, the check in is efficient. The well trained staff... More

We enjoyed our stay here altho the hotel is quite a distance from 'downtown' but since we had a car, we needed an easy place to park. All the hotels seem to charge for parking. Check in very efficient; staff were polite & friendly. Since we were starving when we arrived, we ordered coffee & a sandwich from the bar;... More

I stayed here for four nights in early September. The stay was generally fine, bar a few tiny details that could have made it better. Rooms were clean and comfortable and air con was reasonable. I found it frustrating that the chambermaid would turn the air con off when making up the room. I understand about saving money and carbon... More

I have been in Granada 3 weeks ago. I book that hotel because of the quality, the quality of the hotel was as expected less the breakfast. I have been in a lot of 4* hotels, and the breakfast of Macia Hotel have quality but it needs more variety. There is not a diabetic part, for example, and the quality... More

Just outside the centre a shortish 15 minute walk into town. Go along the river for a change, loads of great community exercise areas and machines if you fancy a jog and work out. Also a great tennis club. The hotel rooms were ideal, clean and fairly modern. Very well cleaned and maintained. The restaurant was good and meals from... More

Excellent hotel in a great location in centre of Granada, walking distance to all the sites and nightlife of the city. Hotel appeared very new and was high quality with great rooms and huge bed. Did not eat their due to all the local nearby places to sample. Will use again if going to Granada.

We are staying here right now - this is our 3rd night. We are a family group and have 3 rooms: 2 twins and 1 balcony. Balcony is huge: same size as the room itself, but does not look over the pool, unlike the ones in the photos. Pool is good: lots of sun loungers, towels plus a bar/cafe with... More
