My husband & I stayed in the Hotel Posada Del Toro for 2 nights while staying in Granada. We enjoyed this hotel very much. It was clean, well kept and comfortable. What we liked about it: temperatures in Granada were over 100 degrees during our stay a good air conditioner was a must. The AC was adjustable with a thermostat... more

Small hotel a block off of the main commercial street. Two blocks from cathedral, right on the edge of the historic Moorish district, etc so very convenient for touring the city. Alhambra is about 20 minute city bus ride (best way to go). Parking is below city market, two blocks away. Nice courtyard restaurant for included breakfast or a glass... more

The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Granada, very short walking distance to all the important directions. Rooms were comfortable. Small minus for the breakfast which wasn´t so special. Still the best value for money of the 8 hotels we stayed during our tour de Andalusia April 2009. more

This is an interesting building, with some Moorish touches and typical Granadan mosaic floor. It is situated opposite the bottom of the 'Morrocan' street, on the edge of the Albaicin, just a few minutes from Plaza Nueva in one direction and the cathedral in another, so about 15 minutes walk from the Alhambra and 5 or 10 from the modern... more

This small hotel is in a perfect location...just minutes from the cathedral and the Gran Via. It was easy to take the minibus on Gran Via to visit the Alhambra and we thought it was more sensible to stay in the center of town than on the Alhambra hilltop. We were glad we did. The Posada del Toro is situated amidst... more

As Granada is a big but not very nice city (drunks, junkies, dogshit) the location of your hotel is very important. I would suggest staying close to the Cathedral or the Alhambra. We (Belgian couple, 50+) stayed in Hotel Posada del Toro a few days between X-mas & NewYear 2008. Quite a large and well furnished room, very decent and... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in September, and had a room overlooking the street (high up) which is what we requested in advance. We found the young woman on reception to be very helpful, and she had very good English (we have no Spanish at all). We thought the location was excellent – we came in on the airport... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in May, 2008. We did not find the location ideal and did not like the surrounding area. Next time we would stay closer to the Alhambra. Most of the hotel staff had extremly limited English. The outdoor seating for the hotel restaurant is located in the internal courtyard that... more

Stayed the 4th time in this hotel. The service is getting worse, especially the lack of taking responsibility from staff. There was very noisy construction work going on during my stay, especially in the early morning. I wouldn't care if one of them would tell me in advance but they stayed quiet until I made the experience the first Monday... more

My wife stayed here 2 nights in May while traveling thru Spain. Thank goodness the taxi driver knew where the hotel was because it's tucked in with other shops and restaurants on a tight little street just a few blocks from Plaza del Sol and the cathedral. Nice roon, nothing fancy except for the lovely wood and tile ceiling. Bathroom... more
