I couldn't recommend this hotel and its staff high enough. Beautifully positioned with a breakfast bar that overlooks the city and yet it is only a ten minute stroll to the Alhambra! Book early as it is very popular. Manuel, the proprietor looks after every possible inquiry with a skilled hand.

We had visited this hotel before and again found it a perfect place to stay. The location, just below the Alhambra, means that it is well positioned for visiting the sights of Granada and there are fantastic views over the city. However, some people may find access difficult and it is quite a slog walking uphill from the city though... More

We stayed at this hotel for three days. The views are magnificent the staff is wonderful and the location is great. We enjoyed our trip a great deal. The host is very good with tips on how to best visit the castle and town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Carmen has beutiful views and close to Alhambra. Owner takes time to help you plan your visit to Granada. Please use taxi arranged by owner because private taxis are not allowed to enterance of carmen and it is difficult to carry bags uphill.

Manuel was extremely gracious and informative on the points of interests in the Alhambra. The view from the room is to die for and the amenities more than adequate Great location and great value. Room was very clean and the breakfast good value.

As many travellers have already mentioned, the location , views and great hospitality from the owner Manuel. What's not to like! Be prepared for lots of walking and proper walking shoes are recommended. As this charming place is strategically located, one can walk from the guest house to the town and back, not forgetting to Alhambra too. We took a... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The owner Manuel does a brilliant job of a half hour briefing of what to see how to get there. Very helpful re Alhambra etc. We had a great room that looks over Granada. It is centrally placed for an easy walk to The Alhambra & The city centre, both of which are 10mins... More

This is a lovely place once reached. But to get there (or out) you need to be able to climb steep hills up or down on tricky cobblestones. If you are elderly or have trouble with steps, you may not be able to stay here. Manuel is very accommodating and carries your luggage for you, but the taxi can only... More

We had a wonderful two day stay last month. Manuel was a very gracious host, making sure that we were welcomed, informed about exploring Granada and genuinely comfortable. The place is part way up the hill to Alhambra, so it's a short walk up hill to that incredible place and a slightly longer walk down hill to the town. We... More

Manuel, your host, which is what makes this site more of a B&B then a hotel, is a remarkable individual. As other reviews have indicated, it is a long walk down a very steep, uneven cobble stone roadway from the nearest taxi drop off point to the front entrance to the hotel. We were not aware of how difficult this... More
