The El Ladron de Agua lies below the Alhamba complex overlooking the river Darro, it is a great base for both the Alhambra and the old town. The hotel is small and friendly and provides a good breakfast. Our room overlooked the Darro and we could just see part of the Alhambra round the large tree opposite. The room was... More

This is a wonderful hotel. Clean, large new rooms and a great location. The breakfast was far better than expected and quite complete, not your average continental breakfast. The hotel has more of a museum feel in the center than a B&B and is quite beautiful. The rooms were large and the bathroom quite nice. There was an unusual number... More

great location - fabulous, attentive staff, really enjoyed the small touches like the afternoon tea served in the library, and the free internet access. Gorgeous place, with a great breakfast in the morning that sustains you as you do all the wonderful things that Grenada is famous for! Very secure, safe location - we did not feel at all at... More

We had a great experience here. Loved the location-- nicely located between the more modern downtown area and the Albaicin quarter. About 15 minute uphill walk to the Alhambra. Staff was friendly and helpful. Computer with internet access in a library room.

Awesome location. Could see Alhambra from window. Bus is nearby or you can walk (uphill though). Can hear Darro (river) rippling and also water flowing in hotel. You are staying in a former grand house, breakfast is in wine cellar. Friendly staff. Great location, just off busy downtown and on a scenic road that runs along river. Arabic Baths are short... This is a charming and beautiful hotel. A renovated villa with style and careful attention to detail. Our room did not look out on the Alhambra but was spacious, fantastic comfortable bed, and lovely bathroom with good quality products. Tea was served every afternoon in the library. As it was the celebration of the 3 Kings when we were there,... More

We recently got back from a 16 day trip through Spain. We stayed in 7 different hotels, all of which were in the top 10 rated by Tripadvisor. Of all the hotels, this was our favorite. It was a perfect location right in the old city of Granada. We parked in a lot not too far away and walked with... More

I feel bad giving this hotel a negative review, because the hotel itself did nothing wrong, but here's the thing: it is insanely noisy on Carrera del Darro, and we got very little sleep. The rooms are gorgeous, the hotel is gorgeous, and the front desk is friendly, but the location is so unbelievably loud. I never ever complain about... More

I went to Granada summer 2008 with my best friend and stayed in El Eladron for 3 nights. It's not the cheapest, but there are more hotels nearby that charge more but less in quality. For me everything about the hotel is excellent. Starting from our arrival, excellent location - close to all the city's main attractions and the best... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in July and it was simply wonderful. The location is perfect. The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, great breakfast and very peaceful. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Granada.
