This Carmen is linked to the Granada University. It is supposed to be open only to students and employees of the UGR (for exemple they have rooms for visitors, etc.), however, if you push the buzzer, there is a good chance that the concierge will let you in without a fuss. After that, you'll have all the garden open to... More

I have had the pleasure for several years now, and invariably leave the place with regrests, fervently hoping I will have the chance to return. The praise of the gardens and the marvelous views of the Alhambra is rightly sung by other visitors.... More

Try to request a room on the Alhambra side at the end. accommodation includes full pension, but dinner can be... More

The Carmen de la Victoria has some of the most breathtaking views of the Alhambra that can be gotten in Granada. Situated in the Albacin (a moorish neighborhood on the hill opposite the Alhambra, separated by a steep and narrow valley), the property literally stares out across the valley at the Alhambra which, when lit up at night, occupies your... The Carmen de la Victoria is a small, well-situated hotel in the Albaicin neighborhood of Granada. It has a beautiful garden and wonderful views of the Alhambra from some of its rooms. (Our view was of the parking spaces.) The staff at the Carmen de la Victoria is competent, but only one person among the staff spoke any English. Rooms... More
