We stayed at the Pension Landazuri for several days starting October 23 2012. The family who run the Hotel Landazuri were wonderful to us. They helped us purchase tickets to the Alhambra and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The location could not be better and they provided us with whatever we needed. Would stay there... The rooms are not very clean, the furniture is old, there are no air conditioners, but all that was not as unpleasant as what happened at night. We were coming back to the hotel after a fun night in Granada, laughing and joking. As soon as the guy at the reception opened the door, he shushed at us without saying... More

This was our first time in Granada and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of the Landazuri. Like other's have said the roof terrace is just amazing for chilling out with a beer and watching the sunset over the Alhambra but it's not the only good thing about this place. The hotel is situated on a pedestrianised street... More

Perfect location especially if you need to dash up to the Alhambra for tickets early in the morning. The Hostal is charming and family run which is great. There was a slight complication with payment however easily resolved. However note that the if you are driving the Hostal is in a traffic restricted zone. This means your satnav will direct... More

Not our first stay in the Landazuri, and it will not be the last. The Pension is situated part way up a not-very-steep slope from the Plaza Nueva - and on the scenic route the the Alhambra. It is beautifully decorated with local ceramic and folk art, well laid out over three (I think!) floors and centrally located for both... More

We were actually given a room in Alfin, opposite Pension Landazuri, that was decorated in quite an eccentric and eclectic manner! For the price, the rooms were large, very clean and good value for money despite the fact there are no fans or air conditioning, a consideration possibly when booking in hot weather. In September, the nights were comfortable with... More

Okay, for mid-summer, no AC is a consideration but if you're running around all day, it's cool by 10 pm and the atmosphere of this place is astonishing. Great terrace looking up at the Alhambra, the best coffee in town with a somewhat stern madam who has held the fort here since 1955 (eventually she opens up with a tale... More

Hostal Landazuri is in a great location, just a short walk up to the Alhambra or down a half block to Plaza Nueva. If you are looking for clean but basic accommodations, a friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English, and location is important, this place is ideal.

Rick Steves recommended this place in his book for an affordable stay and so i thought it was worth a try. Great location to everything. Close to Alhambra and city center. The rooms are decent for the price which is super affordable. 45euro for double with bathroom and 60 euro for triple room with bath. My parents and sister stayed... More

We arrived for our visit while it was 100 only to be surprised that this hotel is not air conditioned and does not even have ceiling fans. Our windows opened to an inner courtyard so by 10 pm or so it had cooled off nicely. But then because the windows were open we could hear all kinds of noises most... More

Management response:

It seems necessary to clarify that a pension is not required by its category to have air conditioning, but if you ask, a fan is available at reception. It seems that there are customers who book expecting to find hotel services at the low price of a pension. More
