A beautiful guest house. The staff Rocio (and a young lady from Italy whose name escapes me) were so kind and helpful. I asked for fresh flowers and these were duly arranged for our arrival. The staff could not of been more helpful with recommendations on where to eat and how to get to the sights. The rooms are charming and quiet. From the roof terrace you can have a great view of the Alhambra. Breakfast was a real treat and I imagine in the summer eating in the courtyard must be lovely. more

We stayed for one night at the Carmen del Cobertizo - it is very well-located, tucked away down a tiny alley just off the Carrera del Darro, so although central, feels quite private. We stayed 6 nights in this lovely Carmen. The building is in a small street in the old part of the town (Albayzin). In its centre is a beautiful covered courtyard where you can sit and have breakfast. It is full of atmosphere and nicely furnished.
