Because of the tripadvisor reviews I read, I booked a room in this hotel over the phone for 360 euros a night without breakfast that supposedly was light and had views over the Alambra. Instead we got a completely dark room with depressing dark furniture, hardly any windows and a view to a wall. I complained to the reception but... More

We chose this hotel based on the trip Advisor reviews and I must say that I was slightly disappointed. we had two rooms. One was said to have a view of the Alhambra..it did if you stood on the small balcony above the noisy narrow street and you just wanted to see the top of the buildings from afar. The... More

The staff at the Casa 1800 were extremely helpful especially with the parking and explaining the tricky road system in Granada. We were upgraded for our first night to a junior suite and them had a superior room. Both were nice although our room was a bit noisy from the atrium and from the guests above. The afternoon tea and... More

Casa 1800 Granada is an awesome hotel to stay!! We had a great time staying here. It's a small hotel with a old taste to it, the hotel is squeaky clean. Their staff are really helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights in Mar-2015 and loved it. We booked the hotel by directly calling them and they gave us 10%... More

The location is in the restricted area, so no private car allowed enter. It means you need walk in the rocky road with the luggage. But all inconvience will be worthy once you stay in the hotel. Room is clean and lovely. It is also quiet during the night and beautiful view in the morning. I am so glade I... More

Our room was lovely, renovated to the highest standard with many original features, and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, they helped to make our stay really enjoyable. Free tea, cakes, snacks, beer, etc., available late afternoon daily, very welcome after a day sightseeing in this beautiful city. The... More

I agree with all the positive comments about the hotel, location and facilities, and nothing to add other than the staff really are the best feature here. Every member of staff was a delight and they gave us some fantastic reccomendations for bars and places to eat and reserved us a table with an amazing view of the Alhambra at... More

This hotel is a gem! Perfectly located in the heart of historic Granada, but just off the main street so as to feel private and secluded. We stayed 4 nights in a Superior Room (#2), which was much larger than we had been anticipating with a window facing the internal walkway leading to the courtyard. Our room was beautifully appointed... More

Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is so pretty with a wonderful courtyard which can be covered for breakfast and free afternoon tea. The beds were large and very comfortable. The surrounding area is delightful, full of very reasonably priced tapas bars and restaurant and within very easy reach of... More

How friendly can personell be? It is definitely at its max in Casa 1800. The building is in a quiet alley close to the center square and perfectly situated to explore the historic gems of Granada. The room was small but extremely clean and beautiful (we got an upgrade from standard to premium). Free snacks at tea time were also... More
