Perfectly located beneath the Alhambra in the lovely old city! We knew we were in the right place when we were greeted by Jose & Evita at the front desk. Having done my research on Trip Advisor, I was worried when we were given rooms 5 & 6 overlooking the lobby. Room 5 has a tiny bathroom but room 6... More

The Casa 1800 is marvellously situated in the Albaicin and near Plaza Nueva i.e. near several of the city's "sights" and eating places. The hotel, a beautiful 17th century building, has two other attractions: a generous afternoon snack buffet (doughnuts, croissants, fruit salad, coffee); and charming, helpful staff such as the knowledgeable Jose and the lovely Maria. We were given... More

We recently spent a night in the Hotel 1800. As a last minute booking we were worried that we would be given an inferior room, but to our great surprise were given Room 26, on the top floor, with amazing views of the Alhambra. We didn't mind that the elevator didn't go all the way to our floor, but this... More

Not too far of a walk from Granada's main (Plaza Nueva), if you take the airport bus into down, it's about a 10 min walk. There are these yellow signs with the "Hotel Casa 1800" on them. Nice bathroom with rain shower and they provide robes and slippers. Very nice touch that they provide 2 free bottles of water, daily.... More

Our first taste of Granada and this hotel just ticked all the boxes. The friendly greeting from the Reception staff was echoed throughout our two night stay by the attitude of all the staff there. I can only assume that the place is as pleasurable to work in as it is to stay in. It's quite pricey but the breakfast... More

Lovely hotel in one of those historic homes built around a central courtyard, decorated with charm and personality. Luckily we’d realized a car was only an impediment in this cities, so we did Seville/Cordoba/Granada by train and had no problem. The room was a little small, but nicely decorated and gets extra credit for the full-length mirror on the ample... More

We stayed at Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada for two nights during Semana Santa and we absolutely loved it. It has a great central location and it is just beautiful. You cannot drive up to it so we parked our car in public parking a few minutes away and took a cab that dropped us off a block or so... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, central to major sights, the staff are very polite, the rooms were clean. The hotel had a lovely perk of complimentary afternoon tea. However, our room (room 6) was on the courtyard - due to this we heard every footstep and door closing around the surrounding area of the courtyard. If you are... More

Beautiful courtyard and very helpful service. Room was very clean, and loved the tea hour they had everyday (free water and soda). Would recommend this hotel to anybody who was traveling to Granada. Hotel is located on a backstreet so it is a bit difficult to find initially but you just need to look for signs.

What a delight to stay in the sole deluxe suite (room 18) for two nights in April 2013! The suite consists of separate living room, substantial bedroom/living/dining room and bathroom with jacuzzi. It’s beautifully furnished, has multiple heater controls and power points, and very acceptable wi-fi reception. The only slight negative is that, like its sister hotel in Sevilla, the... More
