My husband and I stayed at the Parador for two nights on April 21st and 22nd. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and even left a bottle of champagne and a lovely note, as we were on our honeymoon. The location CANNOT be beat -- we spent almost one entire day at the Alhambra and were able to stop... More

Price was HIGH, room was Small. If i were rich, I wouldn't care, but we are a middle class married couple that works hard for our money. I decided to go ahead and stay at the Parador and I plunked down 250 Euros. I had read all of these wonderful tales of roaming in the gardens/palace/whatever at night which is... More

We stayed at the Parador for just one night and were upgraded to a suite. The room was beautiful with a four poster bed and a small outside patio. When we arrived by car, you go to the security hut and tell them you are staying at the Parador. They will let you through. I was a bit apprehensive about... More

The Granada Parador is in a great location, but not worth the expense. We visited while the Parador was under construction, so I can only comment on the hotel wing that was open during our stay. The Parador is very expensive, over $500 per night and you get nothing for this expense. The room was large but decorated minimally. The... More

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay at the Parador San Francisco in Granada. Location is fantastic but the Parador itself is one the dullest hotels I have every stayed in. Our room was incredibly noisy and very small! Outside our window on the ground floor was a metal grill from the basement. The majority of the noise... More

We spent one full day (early Friday afternoon to late Saturday morning) at the Parador, our last stop before heading back to Madrid and home. We parked our car in the lot right next to the Parador and spent all of our time on the Alhambra grounds. We were apprehensive about finding the Alhambra, but there are frequent street signs... We stayed there 1 night in sept. Delicious breakfast, marvellous view. Like to be in the 16th century. A little expensive, but it did worth the price. Paolo

You can't beat this parador for it's location... once you find it! We ended up walking from the main car park and eventually found it. My husband walked back to get the car and bring it up - so that's a bit inconvenient. A bit more advice on getting there would have been helpful! The hotel is fine, staff very... More

You just can't beat the location! While we had tremendous difficulty locating the ticket office, once we did, we were able to pick up our tickets the evening before our visit (close to 8:00 pm when the booth closed). This saved us enormous time in the morning of our visit. We arrived at the Alhambra about 10 minutes prior to... More

We stayed at the Parador in early June. First off, everything I read said you need to make reservations months in advance, but I literally did it the week before. But maybe it's still low season. Because of all the hype I was expecting, perhaps unfairly, to be blown away. It didn't blow me away. Anyway, the Parador is lovely,... More
