My fiancee and I stayed here on July 2, 2009. This Parador is all about location and is certainly it's best attribute. If you take away it's situation within the Alhambra walls, there really isn't anything that special about it especially considering the price. I did love the convenience of being 'right there' to tour the Alhambra in the morning.... more

We only stayed one night here in order to tour the Alhambra. Its a great location if that's all you want to do. Driving up to the hotel was a bit confusing, and getting back down was even harder however the hotel itself was very beautiful. The restaurant was really good and it was lovely sitting outside over looking the... more

This was a birthday treat - one night at the Parador de Granada, followed by nights in Paradors in Jaen and Ubeda. It is a wonderful location right in the Alhambra complex. The hotel is contemporary in style, and compared to other Paradors it is a shame that the interior designers had not taken more inspiration from the Alhambra itself.... more

You open the shutters in your room - and there you are, in the middle of this magical ancient palace of Alhambra. On top of that, you get a very classy parador, with elegant rooms and service. We even had view of the generalife gardens from the bathroom. The staff will arrange tickets for the Alhambra tour. The best of... more

This Parador was situated within a short walk of the entrance to the Alhambra and that would have been a good reason for staying there. However it is a great place on its own merits as well. It is a modern hotel but built within the area of the old. The history of the Alhambra is with you in the... more

If you plan in advance, and have the money to afford it...stay at the Parador in Granada. It is one of the best in Spain and worth the experience! Located in the Alhambra (yes, IN the Alhambra)...it is modern design and professional service par excellence! We loved our stay there in December. It was quiet. The service was impeccable, and... more

A top 500 hotel in the world according to Travel and Leisure Magazine. Great stay. Could not have been more convienent to the Alhambara. Great staff. Superb, free internet. Plus who would have thought that Queen Isabela and King Ferdnand (1493 -- Remember Christopher Columbus) would be buried here. Did I mention the price? No, I am trying to forget.... more

There is no better location in Granada. The restaurant is professional and high quality. The staff at the hotel is professional but cool and indifferent. Certainly a disappointment. The best example is on our second day asking the person at reception (there is no concierge) for restaurant suggestions in town. The response was that the Parador has the best restaurant... more

WE chose the Parador to celebrate a special anniversary, and booked a year ahead! I heard it was always fully booked, and I was determined!! Booked through Parador website, which was easy enough. Now for Hotel.... Wasn't sure if there was parking (there is) but found our way there, and was pleasantly surprised. I'd read many reviews, all saying 'not... more
