Friendly & helpful staff and lovely rooms with views of Alhambra made this a most enjoyable two days in Granada. The location is perfect too with a pleasant walk to the Plaza along the river. On our first night there were buskers in the Plaza and young people playing drums and we had a lovely meal at one of the... More

This hotel has a lovely location just one block from the river, making both the old town and central Granada easy to navigate on foot. Our room, whilst not one of those with an Alhambra view, was really nice, with a spiral staircase to an upper floor (unfortunately this made the wardrobe a little awkward to negotiate, but this only... Pros: Architecturally interesting building Comfy mattresses Very nice bed linens Nice gold embroidered towels the first night Good view of Alhambra from funny little room if you pay for "a view" Good selection for breakfast Very interesting neighborhood worth exploring Cons: 12 steps up to the front door with your suitcase Website should mention lack of elevators for top floor... Beautifully done renovation of a 1500's convent, with antiques mixed with modern art on its own private square one block from the river and two blocks from a major plaza So perfect! Great staff, cleanliness and breakfast - but the very best part are the million dollar views of Alhambra. Lit up at night, this view makes it hard to... More

Depending what you are interested in doing in Granada, this might be the hotel for you. You do have to drag your suitcase a couple of steps to get to it but, you are greeted with the friendliest staff. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room itself was comfortable minus the sewer smell coming out of the bathroom (I stayed on... More

Fantastic small and special hotel....I hate to share it with anyone else! But the location and ambiance as well as the large and comfortable room need to be bragged on. And the breakfast was fantastic. Staff was super friendly. I feel so lucky to have chosen this jewel!

This hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport by taxi for about 25€. The receptionist at the desk was wonderful. They had previously bought tickets to the Allambra, 3 months in advance. There are 35 rooms, each decorated differently. Be sure to ask for king beds, forgot to do this and had 2 singles pushed together. The beds were... More

My one must do for our Spain trip was visiting Al Hambra so for the two nights we spent in Grenada my boyfriend booked this hotel. He paid a little extra and got us a room with a view of Al Hambra which was breathtaking at night. The location of the hotel was also awesome. It's located right along a... More

A friendly hotel with lots of character located in the old city. Stayed a couple of nights, costing about Euros 60 per night in early August. Staff very helpful with directions, how to collect Al Hambra tickets, buses, socket adapters etc.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our Granada stay. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral and well located for wandering the Albayzin area. There are also lots of restaraunts nearby. The hotel and rooms are not modern, but full of character, although noise does travel when noisy guests return at mid night. The staff all... More
