We had a great time at this hotel. Do as other reviewers have suggested and make sure you follow the owner's photo directions. We went on to street view and did the journey in advance. It saved us a lot of stress when we did the journey for real as we recognised the route. Thank you to a previous reviewer... More

Booked by my Fiancee as a night away whilst staying in La Cala De Mijas. Greeted by Victor on arrival (an interesting drive through the streets of Granada (the instructions and pictures provided were excellent)), our room was on the top of the hotel, a lift to the second floor and then a flight of stairs, but well worth it.... This gem of a hotel has been restored and is a delight to explore and enjoy. We had the Mirador room which is in a tower with views of Alhambra, wonderful to see it lit at night. Excellent bed linens and towels with attention to detail at every level. I would imagine that every bedroom would be good. The hotel... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Casa Morisca for four nights, and enjoyed it very much. We had Room 14, a "superior double," very comfortable with even a view of the Alhambra (through the bathroom window). Air conditioning was very quiet and an absolute necessity during the heat wave. The hotel itself, beautifully restored, is pleasant to spend time... More

At an old Moorish house from the XV century, this hotel gives you a feeling that you are living in the medieval times. The view to La Alhambra from the hotel is amazing. It is just 15 min walk to Plaza Isabel II where you'll take bus C3 that will take you to the site for €1.30 The rooms are... More

The hotel is really close to Alhambra - takes about 20 minutes of uphill walk to reach the palace. It is located in a quiet spot and has a lot of old attractive original woodwork. Few steps down is a lively street with many restaurants. We booked the "Mirador room" with the best view of Alhambra but it was quite small... More

We stayed in this charming traditional local hotel which is situated very close to the Alhambra Palace in Granada with space for our car right outside of the hotel in the small side street. Our room was spotlessly clean and had wonderful bed linen and towels. Buffet breakfast was extra and was it very nice. I would recommend this hotel... More

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Morisca for our wedding anniversary in early October. We drove from our house in Mojacar, about 2 hours away. Although we booked months in advance the deluxe rooms were gone and we had room no 1 on the ground floor next to the main entrance and looking out onto the street. The room was... More

This is the most expensive hotel where we stayed during a 10-day visit to Spain. We booked the hotel because of its intriguing Moorish decor and its great location just below the imposing walls and towers of the Alhambra. We were not disappointed. Where else can you open ancient, four-sectioned double doors next to the bed and lie there at... More

Granada was our last stop on a 2 week trip to Spain and we saved the best for last. Case Morisca is a beautiful place, all details are covered, staff is very attentive and helpful. Location is good--not in the center of the action, but easily accessible on foot to Plaza Nueva, Estrellas de San Nicolas and the Al Hambra.... More
