I found reviews of this hotel to be appealing and booked by son and his wife there for their honeymoon. They told me it was their favorite, so when my husband and I decided to visit, I booked us there for one night. With our Garmin GPS we found it very easily! Parking is free, in front of the hotel.... We found it a bit tricky to reach this hotel using our google app through one way streets and many narrow roads but when we did we were not disappointed. It was like entering a piece of history. The building has been lovingly restored from the15th Century and the enormous front door with a massive bolt was phenomenal. Reception was just... More

We are used to staying in 5 star hotels and we were worried about a 3 star hotel. It was fine. Clean and quiet The staff was helpful and location lication location! Its a small boutique house feel with large bathroom and parking. We couldnt find many options in granada that looked great but this was nice. I recommend this... More

A remarkable restoration of a 15th century moorish house, this is a lovely place to stay. Overlooked by the Alhambra and apart from the hotels at the top this has to be the most convenient base from which to visit it. Staff are friendly and helpful and receptionists speak English. Good breakfast.

From the moment we arrived to when we left, the service by reception at Granada's Casa Morisca was excellent. Parking was tight and so we were offered for the car to be parked for us - something I wouldn't usually take up, but was glad of the offer on this occasion. As others have mentioned, driving following the SatNav will... More

Our stay in this converted charming palace was one of the highlights of our trip to Andalucia. The open courtyard, historic doors and furnishings and the unbelievable view of the Alhambra made our stay here memorable. I was so pleased that the bed was super comfortable, as we were quite jet-lagged when we arrived. We also loved the breakfast downstairs... More

Located just across the Darro River from the Alhambra ( get tickets way in advance ), it greets with huge ancient wooden door. The building is typical of the 12th century caliphate construction. You enter a courtyard with huge wooden beams, fountain and ornate tile. Rooms enter onto the courtyard or a balcony above - some have view of the... More

We loved everything about this hotel. Walking distance to everything, free parking, WiFi and breakfast too. The place is so historical and grand. The linens are top notch and beds are super comfy. Can't recommend enough.

15th Century Moorish Palace with clean rooms and very accommodating staff. We loved being able to walk to the Alhambra, restaurants, and other sites. Driving and parking a car in Granada might be challenging. The room was a bit small but adequate. We would have appreciated more light for reading.

This is such a lovely accommodation option, atmospheric, terrific location, and really great and friendly service. Our room was big enough, had everything needed, was very clean, and the hotel has free parking directly out the front (big bonus in Granada). The hotel is a converted old mansion / structure, built around an inner courtyard which is so cute. There... More
