We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights bed and breakfast - staff friendly, bar small but welcoming barman, room clean but very compact and crammed with furniture - view from window was a high brick wall. The roof pool tiny and area not clean or well cared for. I would not recommend dinner - dire! The food was lukewarm... more

We spent three nights here. Hotel is within 15 minutes walk of all central Granada attractions. Rooms are not luxurious but are clean and well furnished; good bathroom. Rooms facing street can be noisy at night. Although it was March, hotel was warm and room was stuffy; air conditioning did not function despite requests, so had to keep windows open.... more

Very nice and well-maintained hotel. For about $100 a night you get a nice ,spacious room with hardwood floors, clean bathrooms, internet access for a nominal charge, knowledgable, multilingual and very helpful staff and an awesome buffet breakfast. The hotel is a15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to the Alhambhra but taxis are easily available and inexpensive. Overall a great value for your money more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were very impressed. We booked through expedia and only paid about 100$ a night and I couldn't believe what we got for that money. The hotel was definitely a european 4 star... hard wood floors, great shower comfy bed- but still not the height of luxury. It was also well located,... more

Location: The hotel is located just off the Recogidas and is a 10 minute stroll from the Cathedral. It is situated on a fairly busy street, but is well sound-proofed, so noise is not an issue. There are a number of bars and restaurants within a short stroll. Reception: Manned 24 hours by multi-lingual staff. Check in and out was... more

The Corona is at the southern end of main Granada within easy walking distance of all the shops and eating places. Walking down from the Alhambra is no problem, but you might find that uphill is a stretch. The beds are fine and the bathroom well-appointed. Only gripe is the sound of everyone's plumbing/showers etc. Breakfast is good and the... more

I selected the Hotel Corona mostly because of the many decent reviews on Trip Advisor. I am very pleased with that decision. The Hotel Corona is in comfortable walking distance to the center of town up a main street lined with orange trees. The Alhambra Palace is a bit more of a trek and most of it is uphill. The... more

Ok first impressions - not very good. The hotel didnt look as nice as the photo. So the first critical point to make is dont be fooled by the photos. The staff were not very pleasant. The worrying thing is that i am Spanish and i speak Spanish quite well, but there was always a feeling that the staff didnt... more

Great Location. friendly staff. Nice bar in the lobby. The only issue was the noise in the middle of the night from the speedsters on 2 wheelers but it was not their fault as the city centre is busy till the early hours on a weekend. Rooms could be larger - overall good value for money. more

Finding accomodation in Granada was not as easy as in Seville. given that the main attraction is the Alhambra and to stay near it is quite expensive and I would personally not recommend it as it is quite a bit away from the city centre. We stayed 2 nights (Fri & Sat)in the Corona and it was okay. Clean and... more
