Very friendly, kind and of course very helpful staff :) The biggest advantage is unbelievably brilliant location, close to the center. Coming by bus to Granada, you can get off the city bus to the street, which gets very easily to the hostel. Bathroom in the room was very large and functional, I recommend this option. Kitchen well equipped, but... More

Absurdly good location. Its a 5 min walk from the Cathedral, a 20 min walk from the Alhambra (although you can take a bus up to the Alhambra if you prefer); a 10 min walk to the Alabayzin or the Realejo. Or if you prefer shopping then its just 5 min from the shopping area if thats what you prefer.... More

One of my favourite hostels ever! The rate was really cheap, so I booked a private room for my friend and I backpack and we had a whole floor to ourselves, with ensuite and patio. Downstairs is a living room with widescreen tv satellite, dvds, computer and wifi, fully equipped kitchen with food available to cook for those on a... More

The hostel is situated in a good location, close to the Cathedral, and 20 min walk to Alhambra. Also you can get a bus to Alhambra. The hosts are nice and gave us a map and showed us the nice places to have a caña and tapas. Theres a board on the living room too with many tips of what... More

A lovely hostel right in the heart of the old town of Granada, just a few minutes walk from the cathedral and all the sights. The ALHAMBRA is just a 20 minute walk away but it is all uphill. Ana, the owner is more than friendly and helpful. She made me feel at home the moment I walked in the... More

I stayed in this hostel for reasons of work, during a weekend; in the 2° floor. He has a good relationship between quality and price; is located in the center of Granada; the rooms are small, but there is also a kitchen (well equipped), and a common area with a television, sofa, table with chairs and a computer (free internet... I am extremely grateful to the staff of Barbieri Granada Hostel, especially Ms Ana, who mailed my watch which I forgot at the hostel, all the way from Granada to Bremen, Germany! The watch is very dear to me as it was a farewell gift. I had been frantically trying to locate my watch and emailed the youth hostels where... More

The staff is very friendly, helpful and warm. They make you feel welcome, especially in a stay as long as mine (14 nights). The kitchen is well equipped (big knife for chopping, cutting board, water boiler...). WiFi is included. Although there were some connection issues on the first floor, it worked fine downstairs. The hostel is cleaned daily. Good breakfast,... More
