I am extremely grateful to the staff of Barbieri Granada Hostel, especially Ms Ana, who mailed my watch which I forgot at the hostel, all the way from Granada to Bremen, Germany! The watch is very dear to me as it was a farewell gift. I had been frantically trying to locate my watch and emailed the youth hostels where... More

The staff is very friendly, helpful and warm. They make you feel welcome, especially in a stay as long as mine (14 nights). The kitchen is well equipped (big knife for chopping, cutting board, water boiler...). WiFi is included. Although there were some connection issues on the first floor, it worked fine downstairs. The hostel is cleaned daily. Good breakfast,... More

This is a great and cheap little hostel down a back street of Granada with lots of charms You get a lovely little room, air con and free breakfast which is very satisfying particularly the coffee. The staff at this place are amazing, helpful and very kind. We where treated very well by the lady on reception. I can't speak... More

The hostel itself was great, small rooms with own bathrooms and very clean. Perfect wifi and lots of power points. What made it the best though was the service, Ana (the owner) was so helpful and knowledgable. Real family atmosphere and felt like home. Great location as well.

I booked Barbieri hostel to go to a friend wedding. It was much better than any other hostel I have been before. More like a hotel than a hostel. Only 4/5 rooms per floor and most of them en suite. Staff is very friendly and helpful, particularly when giving recommendations for places to go and visit. Location wise is very... More

Good location, 20 min walk to Alhambra and 5 mins to the arab quarter. Very friendly staff who were very accommodating. More like a hotel than hostel but this suited us fine. Wifi was a bit weak/ cut out lots on 2nd floor but strong in lounge area. Bathrooms always super clean and lots of space/hooks to put clothes etc.... More

The Barbieri's website suggests that if you fly into Granada, you can save significant funds if you take the 3E bus into the central area. True, but be aware that the bus waits for passengers to fill it before departing into the city. Once we got off at the designated spot, we ran into problems finding the hostel. You see,... More

My friend booked this hostel on Saturday night, she got a dormitory sharing with another person. It happened that I suddenly decided to come to Granada and stayed over the night on the same Easter weekend; the city was crowded and it proved to be difficult to find accommodation for me for the night. We went to the Baribieri as... More

The hostel was good and great for friends wanting to stay central to Granada. Breakfast was included and so was the wifi. The wifi connection was terrible from our room but worked very well downstairs. Really good value for money, especially having an ensuite! It's very very close to the Cathedral, local shops and the local eateries. Also a short... More

Great Hostel on a lovely little street in Grenada, close to bars and shops. Book the right room and you'll even get a little balcony! Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean, with good bathrooms, decent breakfast included in price, and free use of internet on PC. Great value for money, highly recommend.
