IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BY CAR go straight to the hotel; they will explain parking to you. Although you cannot leave your car there, it is possible to enter the Alhambra grounds to unload your car at the hotel. On arrival at the entrance gate to the Alhambra use the intercom to indicate you have hotel reservations and they will... More

I was here with a group of 60+ year olds for 3 nights. We occupied almost all of the rooms. Have stayed here before and it was as wonderful an experience as the last time. When the crowds leave you have Alhambra to yourselves. It is magical under a moonlit evening. Rooms, food, and staff exceeded expectations. I would go... More

We stopped here for lunch whilst visiting the Alhambra. Without a doubt the worst place I have ever eaten. Extortionately overpriced tapas, bread as hard as a rock and each of our party of 4 was messed on by birds, even after moving seats. Farcical.

There are only two hotels within the Alhambra itself. Hotel America is a small old-charm hotel, right next by Spain top hotel Parador de Granada. I stayed there two nights on 11.09 - 13.09.2014 with a deal $110 AUD per night single room; the double room special price was $166AUD per night. It was great experience and made it so... More

Only lodging other than the super expensive Parador located on top of the hill on/near Alhambra ground. Old, but well kept and small hotel. Staff very helpful. Rooms upstairs (no elevator) were basic but clean and comfortable. Courtyard restaurant was OK; breakfast also OK. In spite of somewhat unenthusiastic comments, I would recommend visitors to Alhambra stay here. Small as... More

This small, quaint hotel was perfect for visiting the Alhambra since it is inside the walls of the historic Alhambra. Rooms are perfectly sized, ours had a nice view of the grounds below. The place is run by a very nice and helpful couple. They have a nice breakfast, snacks and drinks in the lounge area in the afternoon, a... More

It's impossible to beat the location - in the heart of the Alhambra. The rooms are small, olde wordlist, with few concessions to modern living. Functional but no luxurious. One has to drive in (after inquisition at the gate - I wasn't expecting that), drop of luggage and then drive out and find space in public parking. We left our... More

The hotel is simple, clean and with friendly staff. The location is what justifies the price being right next to the Parador which charges about 6 times as much. There is not much sound proofing so rooms on the courtyard or street are a bit noisy. Our room had a very stylish new bathroom, comfortable matress and lots of character.... More

A genuine logis - small, comfortable, family-run, peaceful - and quiet, although it's within the Alhambra. Plenty of old-world charm, and very friendly staff, who went to endless trouble to help us sort out a problem with our onward travel. The perfect place to stay while visiting the Alhambra if you don't want to pay Parador prices.

It advertises itself as a family run hotel and hews pretty true to that description. I don't imagine it has many bedrooms and those are on the small size. Mine was a single room on the front of the hotel and thus facing the major pedestrian walkway from the parking lot and exit from the Alhambra to the entrance and... More
