Beautiful place to sit in, very romantic and magical. The food was the worse we had in a months stay in Spain. The bread was so tough, our children couldn't get their teeth into it and could barely break bits of to feed to the birds. Very expensive too. Avoid bread at all costs! Service was pretty terrible...(Acorn Antiques) Lovely... More

A charming little hotel right at the heart of the Alhambra Palace. It was in a great position and although the room was quite small the furniture and decor fitted in well with the surroundings. Tried the restaurant for a drink before venturing out, but decided not to eat there. The decor and location was lovely but the menu was... More

We didn't stay here but tried to have a meal while visiting Alhambra. We were shown to a table which was cleaned and we were given menus. We then sat for 15 minutes trying to catch someone's attention to order. With the service this poor, we then worried that we wouldn't get our food in time to reach our time... More

We did not stay at the hotel but had lunch here during a visit to the Alhambra. This is not fine dining, but that is not a criticism. Rather, this is very good regional cuisine served in an attractive courtyard setting. The staff were very accommodating and were excellent with the children in our party. I would certainly visit again.

Location : Perfect ; if you are an Indian, imagine living on the grounds of the Taj Mahal or the Red Fort. Our story : because of a mix up we arrived from Madrid at 10 pm ; if the hotel was not located a couple of minutes walk from the Nasrid Palace we would have missed our 10.30 pm... More

Other more luxurious hotels in Granada cannot match the location dictated by the [preferable]early access to the Alhambra offered by this little oasis inside the grounds. It is small, it is practical and very definitely Spanish. The staff work hard but cheerfully to cope with the continuous flow of passers-by dropping in for a snack or liquid refreshment.

Rented a car in Madrid and drove to Hotel America in the Alhambra complex. Our GPS worked great, which was lucky because we struggled a bit with the map the Hotel America sent earlier. Parked in the Alhambra lot, and the attendant in the information booth pointed us in the right direction. However, we had no idea the right direction... More

My husband’s childhood memory of Alhambra brought us to the idea of having an overnight stay in the Alhambra complex. We drove early from Seville and swung by the Sierra Nevada ski station first before heading to the Alhambra complex. The drive from Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra complex were pretty closed; around 40km. We parked the car at the... More

Stayed 2 nights at the Hotel America - very helpful staff, convenient location for relaxing before and after the hours sightseeing at the Alhambra. Room 212 was clean, large, airy, and comfortable - queen bed, and sofa - quiet for overlooking the front of the hotel. Up two flights of stairs. Our friends stayed on the ground floor in room... Needing a break after a couple of serious sightseeing in Lahambra, we noticed a litle door through wich we could see a quaint oldfashioned tapio with small marble tables and bamboo chairs. The name above the door read "Hotel America *" One star !! Well inside you stepped back 50-70 years in time. Fantastic, ! The beams holding up the... More
