Staying inside the Alhambra is a treat. We wanted at first to stay at the Parador, but could not get in.Thank goodness! This is a pleasant, heartwarming, homey kind of small hotel. Our room was the balcony one that overlooked the patio. We had a place of our own to eat outside and watch fellow tourists enjoy the charm of the hotel. The room had rustic furnishings and... I recently returned to this hotel having stayed there 21 years ago and found it, thankfully, just as I remembered it: personal, relaxed, unpretentious and very special. The location and views, the exceptional kindness of the staff, and the blend of shabby chic charm and an unbelievably privileged location on the Alhambra grounds make it - while certainly not the... Small boutique hotel with good food. There are only two hotels within the walls of the Alhambra. The hotel America and the Parador (which is very, very, expensive). The Hotel America is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Staying there enabled us to get up early and walk a small distance to the Alhambra, beating the crowds and enabling us to... More

For those of you from the "Range Rover" crowd, who must be constantly coddled and carressed, I would advise you to seek alternate accomodations! You will not get a luxury shower, nor luxury bed sheets, no flat panel tv ( no tv of any kind, thank you). There is no Grey Poupon in the restaurant. For the rest of us... More

This is an small and very cozy hotel with a beautiful decoration. Is an old building with a large wooden staircase and small rooms but you can feel as if you are living inside the Alhambra history!!. The personal is very friendly and will answer all your questions about the best way to enjoy the city. A problem is that... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in room 226 which is the best and with a terrasse. It's a charming little hotel and for us it was a must since we were going to see Alhambra. We asked in advance if the hotel could buy tickets for us to Alhambra and they did. It have to be done 1 month... More

This is a cute little hotel located inside the Alhambra. We arrived on a day when there was a national strike going on, so the Alhambra was closed. This was actually better, because we could explore the area with no one around. I thought that the hotel had great european charm. We ate next door for dinner at the Parador,... More

There are the 'old worlders' and 'new worlders', you know who you are! If you like old world charm then this place has it. If you like new world hotel standards and slickness then look further up the hill - and price scale - at the Parador. This is a family run hotel with piecemeal art works, furnishings and a... More

This hotel is so convenient for visiting the Alhambra. The rooms are adequate and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had to be there early in the morning - 8:00 a.m. and it is a short, easy walk. There is a good restaurant for breakfast (included with the room and served in a separate dining room) and lunch and... More

Small hotel in the Alhambra, nice staff, front desk folks very helpful. The rooms are smallish but well appointed. The location is a bit out of the way, but it is so quiet at night! The restaurant is fantastic, the tapas delicious, the drinks sublime. Enjoy!
