Very cheap hotel - but you get what you paid for. Despite being within Alhambra, the hotel is not a hotel I would recommend. The beds were as hard as stone - I did not get a good night from them. The breakfast was fairly average - no buffet breakfast there. However the customer service there was amazing. English was... More

From the reservation already the hotel gave us a good impression. They could accommodate the two of us for 5 nights, Oct. 16-21, but the first night would be in a ground-floor room just off the patio (Rm 22-24), where drinks and meals were served until 6 pm, it could be noisy. The room was not that noisy, but it... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location, within the grounds of the Alhambra Palace. We found most of the staff friendly and helpful, but not all. The building itself is old and interesting, but in need of a little TLC. Breakfast is disappointing. Whilst the location of the hotel is romantic and breathtakingly beautiful, from a practical point-of-view it is... More

The Hotel America is a beautiful, small hotel that is located directly in the Alhambra itself. The building is historic, more than two hundred years old, and it is wonderfully decorated with nice antiques and very comfortable furnishings. There were two things though, that disappointed me. First, the historic building was not designed to mitigate noise; the sounds of people... More

This lovely old hotel is located within the grounds of the Alhambra. Its setting and ambiance are a perfect addition to the trip to the Alhambra. We were fortunate enough to get rooms for one night so that our tour of the Alhambra could be divided into a two day visit. From the hotel we walked directly to all of... More

This is a lovely place which has a good feeling yet is tired and could be upgraded nicely without losing its charm. The room sizes are small but adequate. However they are very very dark, the electrical system is marginal. Beds were comfortable, but towels were rough, very thin. The single most annoying thing was how noisy it was when... More

This small bed and breakfast is in a great location right on the property of Alhambra. The entry and courtyard a charming. The staff pleasant. The rooms were clean, somewhat dark and dated but adequate. We had a room with a patio which we enjoyed. All in all, one would choose this hotel for the location especially if you are... More

Even ignoring its idyllic setting in the Alhambra complex, the beautiful exterior could not be bettered. Once inside however it's charm is rather more faded. Our family room was ideal in layout for our family of four but was very dark and gloomy. The green decor and dark wood did little to light up the room. Generally very clean but... More

We only stayed here for a night but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the staff was very nice and helpful. We loved our room and the patio in the center is beautiful! They also have a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch options. Also a short walk from the Alhambra!

This hotel is ALL about location. It’s literally 30 meters from the Alhambra. It has about a dozen rooms created from a 19th century manor house and is chock-a-block with interesting antiques the owner has collected. STAFF: Small staff that must multi-task making things confused at times, but they were always cheerful and helpful. LOCATION: The closeness to the Alhambra... More
