A good value and shipshape establishment with lovely rooms in an very interesting district of Granada – Casa del Aljarife’s suite was perfect for four friends on an annual weekend break. The interior decoration, large, new bathroom (if you choose the right moment you can shower in the sun’s rays!) and views were great – the only caveat being the... more

The room was large and very nice and the host thoughtful (his restaurant recs were great). But most of all the location is excellent, in the Albaycin but close to the other parts of town. It was easy to get to the major sites and find good nearby tapas bars and restaurants. The only downside was a bit of noise... more

Our visit to Granada was wonderful because of Christian Most and his lovely pension Casa del Aljarife. The location is delightful, the room we stayed in was charming, spacious, and cool in the hot daytime weather. The breakfast was simple but good in a lovely courtyard with blooming flowers and fruit trees. Mr. Most provided expert advice and a written... more

a recommendation of a small publication for best inns in southern spain. were offer a suite for the price of a double for our two-night stay in a cold December recently. The host emailed detailed driving, parking and waling instructions to the property, useful, given the pedestrian nature of the neighbourhood. The room was a large double, with two single... more

We arrived to book in to our two bedroom apartment only to find there was one bedroom plus a sitting room with two fold-down beds which were extremely uncomfortable. Our travelling companions won the bedroom by toss of a coin. I was unable to sleep on the fold-down bed and spent most nights curled up uncomfortably on the sofa. The... more

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Casa del Aljarife. This B&B has a lovely, historic feel to it, with a beautiful garden. The owner, Christian, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - including Andalucian honey and jam. Amazing views of the Alhambra. I would fully recommend staying here. more

Casa del Aljarife is a terrific B&B unlike anywhere else you might stay...truly felt like a home with the lovely courtyard and spacious room (3# was ours). The views from our room were great, not only of the Alhambra, but the plaza and rooftops below. Quiet but for the sound of birds and a jazz/piano combo. practicing one afternoon across... more

I agree with many of the postive reviews saying that this is a beautiful property but that's unfortunately the only thing I would agree with. We booked two twin rooms with two bathrooms (only one with shower) and living room. On arrival we were so disappointed to find the second bathroom was only a toilet and basin. To compound our... more

A visit to Granada would not be complete without a stay at Casa del Aljarife. A delightful old Moorish abode in the atmospheric Albacin with romanic views of the amazing Alhambra. A real gem. more

I found this hotel to have a very pretty room with a view of the alhambra and a clean large bathroom. The casa had a very spanish feel to it and was very comfortable. There was a nice courtyard and and free internet. They hotel is definitly a hike to get to, not for anyone who can not handle difficult... more
