An excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Double room was of very good size but the bathroom was on the small side. Excellent buffet breakfast which was served in the cafeteria which had lovely furniture. A good way of tasting Spanish and international food.

Just got back from a four night stay. Very relaxing hotel. With an old world charm. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very traditional. Very clean. Good view over the pool. The food was very good. Also traditional mostly. Although they do 'themed' nights. While we were there we had an 'Arabian' nights dinner, and an... More

This was my second stay at this very centrally located Hotel, which I first reviewed exactly a year ago. Things have not changed. The lobby with its collection of Lorca paraphernalia on view in small display cases, the attractive paintings and statues that grace every floor. It was great to be back and to be instantly recognized and welcomed by... More

The hotel is in a great location central to everything and it was easy to find. I was irritated when checking in as the receptionist ignored us and spoke to other staff for over five minutes, then I couldn't get internet access ,he told me my computer was faulty. (both of them ?) .It wasn't till more helpful staff told... More

Spent four nights here in September. The hotel is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all the major sites. We got the express bus from Malaga and then a local bus to the cathedral and walked the final five minutes. Check in was very quick. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the side of the... This Hotel is well located close to the places of interest and with plenty of restaurants nearby. The Reception staff are very helpful and an excellent breakfast was available. The rooms to the rear whilst quiet have no view other than other apartments. It is disappointing that the wifi only works in Reception. Even more disappointing was a charge to... More

I stayed at the Reina Cristina for four nights in late October. The hotel's location is excellent: within walking distance of most major sites. The reception staff were very brisk; they seemed to be working much too fast with each guest, and as result, service was not as helpful or as thorough as it could have been. For example, my... More

We spent 2 nights here in October, 2013. The overall hotel was clean and quiet. Its location is only a 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Our room was OK, but the beds were rock hard (as were 4 out of 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain.) The people at the front desk were very helpful and cheery. The... More

We spent three nights at the Hotel Reina Cristina on our recent trip to Spain. The price was definitely right for a junior suite on the side of the building, and the room was quiet (side of the building faces an alley/narrow street). Not much of a view (except for occasional glimpses of the Granada moon, which can be spectacular)... More

Just returned from Spain, and we very much enjoyed our stay at the Reina Cristina. The room was squeaky clean and large by EU standards. The decor in the hotel proper was a combination of rustic and elegant. We were on a special senior rate which was appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, especially the bread pudding. The location is top... More
