Nice hotel situated at the top of the hill where the Alhambra stands.Comfortable rooms and pleasant swimming pool area with loungers. Restaurant buffet pretty average but good value. A steep walk down to the city (and even steeper coming back!) but the mini buses and road train offering "Hop on - hop off" travel operate from the Alhambra just a... More

Just across the road from the Alhambra - a few minutes walk. However this means it's a bit out of town. It's quite a walk (particularly coming back, which is all uphill), but there is a regular cheap bus service. Nice place, nice rooms, great views. Breakfast merely OK.

This hotel is located very close to the main entrance to Alhambra and the main car park. Easy to get the bus to the city as this is the last bus stop. We stayed there for 2 nights. The room is pleasant and clean. Quite spacious with decent bathroom. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. But it really is pretty... More

A comfortable hotel right at the entrance to the Alhambra. Rooms are a bit dated but spacious enough and well equipped. tiles around the basin in the bathroom were broken. Easy access to Granada city centre by frequent buses or taxi. Reception staff were friendly and most helpful. We had breakfast at the restaurant twice, due to very limited other... More

A good hotel for a short stay. It is very convenient for the Alhambra and reasonably close to the city centre. It is at the top of a steep hill but there is a frequent bus service and taxis are cheap. The 'train' also stops at the bus stop and is good for a circular tour of the city but... More

Last hotel on our Rivieria tour of Classical Spain and another well situated location right opposite the Alhambra with a bus every 8 minutes down to the City. Pleasant 15 minute down tree lined path but bus or taxi recommended for return. Comfortable room and nice 3rd floor outside pool with large sundeck although water rather cold.

Stayed here two nights as part of a tour. It is a few minutes walk to The Alhambra. About fifteen minutes walk down hill to the town, but plenty of buses. We hired a taxi back from Granada town centre and it was only 4.97 euros between four of us ,which actually worked out cheaper than the bus. The hotel is... More

this was the last hotel on our coach tour and by far the best. the room was quite large and we had one that overlooked a small garden plot. it was lovely and quiet. the food was extremely good, we had dinner there, as part of the tour the cost of the buffet was €12, otherwise €14, which was still... Spent one night as a stop off on our way from Madrid to Tangir, Morocco and had a less than par experience. Upon arrival we asked for a wake up call the next morning, and within seconds the woman known as the night manager seemed to hate us for no apparent reason. Later that night I came down and set... Really you could not get any nearer to the Alhambra if you tried ! we were travelling through Spain by car and did not book in advance...its was extremely busy everywhere- in addition most of Granada is one way so made trying to find a hotel even more difficult ! ended up at the Alhambra Palace area and Alixares Hotel...
