With little competition for dinner spots near to the Alhambra, the Guadalupe doesn't seem to have motivation to provide either good food or service. It was filled with noisy Brits abroad who drank too much (not the hotel's fault). The waiter was pretty unfriendly, probably because he was servicing the restaurant solo. Food was only just passable. Although it wasn't... More

Elegant, traditional hotel. Only real minus is very, very slow WiFi in rooms and if you are addicted to net and don't want to go to reception every time you need it... Very nice bathroom, restaurant, helpful staff (they can make you reservations for Alhambra even if they are officially sold out!) Some rooms are also very darks so demand... More

The Guadalupe Hotel is as close to the Alhambra as you can get without staying at one of the two hotels actually inside the Palace. That location made it possible to start very early and then actually take a short break and go back into the Palace grounds which worked very nicely for my family. The rooms appeared to have... More

We had time to kill before an evening show in the Generalife gardens and went into the bar of this hotel. If the rest of the place and staff is as good as the bar area, it's highly recommended. Our waiter was charming and unflappable, even when the place became really full and he was working on his own. Excellent... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Guadalupe for two nights during our quick visit to Spain in June. The hotel was VERY easy to find coming from Malaga, even in the middle of the night. The hotel, as others have mentioned, is literally directly across the street from the entrance/ticket collection area of the Alhambra. To get to the... More

The Hotel abuts both the grounds and the secure parking lot of the Alhambra. As a result if you are in town for the Alhambra and\or driving to Granada, Guadalupe is the place to stay. You have easy ingress and egress to the hotel and parking right off the highway, and this makes life a whole lot easier than would... More

Nicely located at the top of a hill above the city center, we found the Hotel G. a comfortable little perch for three nights from which to stage our exploration of the Alhambra grounds next door and Granada below. We asked, and found there were two rooms on the 4th floor with ample terraces. Good call; turned our smallish standard... More

The hotel is located opposite the car park to the Alhambra, so great for the visit! It’s about a 30 minute walk into Granada, but be warned on the way back its quite a steep trek, though there are buses. If you head into Granada by foot, a tip is to take the road to the left of the Alhambra,... More

The Guadalupe Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the Alhambra, walking into Grenada, catching the little train or the bus. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, especially Jessica on Reception. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was more than adequate. We had lunch here on our last day as we had an evening flight back... More

My sister and I stayed at the hotel this past week for two nights. The hotel was very clean and well located, next to La Alhambra. We had a problem on the first day with our AC; when we brought it up, the manager on duty told us the AC just needed a few minutes to cool down the room.... More
