Having pre-booked a visit to the Alhambra with friends, this hotel was ideal for our requirements as it is so close to the entrance. It is also on the bus route into town so there was no need to drive. The hotel is very nicely furnished and equipped and I can thoroughly recommend it.

Can't believe how lucky we were to stumble on this gem. We were simply looking for an hotel convenient for the Alhambra, but the Guadalupeis not only almost inside the Alhambra, but it is also a very comfortable, pleasant, and well-run hotel. They even booked our Alhambra visit for us for a minimal admin fee. Would not hesitate to book... More

As stated by other reviewers the hotel is minutes away from the Alhambra and staff are happy to help you book tickets (bear this in mind as queues for tickets can be horrendous). The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill so if you venture into town then my advice would be to get the shuttle bus... More

Pros: Steps away from the main entrance and ticket office of the Al Hambra! Steps away from the hop on hop off stop for the green line tour (which is the main tour) Steps away from the local bus c3 which takes you to the city centre Plenty of cabs around as well Great restaurants nearby Room was awesome clean... Ugh...this place was a real disappointment. The staff, one night manager in particular, was so inept that I seriously considered re-packing and moving to a different hotel. But generally, it was an overpriced dump. Worn, chipped furnishings, stained tiles and cracked fixtures in bathroom. Paper-thin walls, and you could hear every sigh and crying baby in the corridor. The room... More

A. charming smaller hotel, oozing warmth and character. food was inexpensive (eg around 12 euros for the menu of the day which was both tasty and substantial), staff were courteous and helpful, our room was delightfully decorated in the style of the area and very comfortable. nearby parking was easy to access and subsidised by the hotel.

Stayed at the Guadalupe for 6 nights 2 weeks ago and we were very pleased with it. The staff was especially helpful and accommodating, especially Joaquin, Javier, and Jessica.... they took care of our every need. I had hurt my ankle on the trip over and they brought me ice and made every effort to be of assistance. The room... More

Our stay at the Guadalupe Hotel was very nice. It's a neat place up in the mountains, walking distance from the Alhambra. Easy access to busses and taxi to get to the Centro and other places. Service was great and friendly staff, room was clean, food at the hotel was good. Overall, we had a great time and we definitely... More

The perfect hotel due to proximity to the Alhambra. Rooms were small but clean. The staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast selection was limited. Transportation to the center of town was nearby. We were very pleased with the value.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the Alhambra and in an ideal location if travelling with a car ( possible to avoid the centre of Granada ). The hotel booked the tickets for the Alhambra for us - thank you Javier. Our room was on the top floor at... More
