This hotel is excellently situated right next to the Alhambra with an easy walk down to the town. Return walk is steep but easily "doable" if reasonably fit. Parking is in the Alhambra car park - you take a ticket on way in and drive to lower car parks, you can see the hotel from the car park and it... More

This hotel was just what we needed for a quick night stop before heading up to the Sierra Nevada. Staff are friendly, beds are comfortable and food at dinner was good. Breakfast pretty average but other than that a cosy and well located hotel for an extremely reasonable price.

Agree with other reviewers that this a good hotel if you arrive by car. The rooms we had were spacious, clean but fairly basic. Would not recommend the restaurant for dinner, but breakfast ok. Rather disappointing to have fake orange juice in a country full of fresh oranges! Hotel is VERY convenient for visiting the Alhambra, which also means you... More

This hotel is located within a 30 second walk to the alhambra and its ticket office. The receptionists were very helpful in directing us to free parking for our car. We had booked two twin rooms which were of a high standard (including whirlpool baths). We had to change one room however as the noise from next doors bathroom pipes... More

Granada is a big city, but the hotel was really easy to find, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely go back - particularly to see the Alhambra again (amazing but really hard to take it all in in one day and do it justice!)

If you are taking a car to Granada then this hotel is easy to find and get away from, has adjacent parking by the Alhambra and a nearby stop for the local bus and tourist train or you can walk to the centre and take a taxi back for €5. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the... More

This hotel has the perfect location, directly across from the Alhambra. I booked "Double Special Room" that was was advertised online as being located on the top floor with great views. It did not lie! My father recommended this hotel and I'm glad I listened. You can walk down to the city centre and the very convenient C3 bus brings... More

We stayed here 3 nights in a 4th floor room which has a small terrace off the back looking at the olive trees. Very pleasant and quiet at night. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as it was a bit expensive but instead ate at the great coffee bar just next door going down the street. A fine... More

View of kitchen roof from only window. Kept awake by fans. During restaurant service noise is unbearable. No air con. No fridge. Very unpleasant stay not to be repeated. Internet did not work in room. Charge for safe. This hotel is poor value and needs to join 21st century.

Reading your opinion I really think you visited and stayed in another diferent hotel, Our Hotel is ideally placed in a very quiet area, our surroundings are the Alhambra, The Generalife Gardens, and the vegetation of Winter Natural Park of "Llano de la Perdiz", The back side of our Hotel is a nice and quiet countryside of olive trees, but... We stayed two nights amid a driving tour through the South of Spain. Hotel Guadalupe served our purpose perfectly - its location is literally right across the road from the Alhambra's main entrance, 2 mins off the highway network leading into Granada and 10 mins walk (or 2 mins taxi ride) into town. Ample parking at the Alhambra's main parking,... More
