This hotel is walking distance to many attractions and surrounded by shops & restaurants but the inside. I stayed here with a tour group and all our rooms were tiny, dusty and dark. Many didn't even have windows!! The breakfast and service were good, though. It's worth shopping around for other options at a similar price point.

My wife and I stayed at the Carmen during our visit in Granada. The hotel is very nice and the price was reasonable but the location is the best. This hotel is right in the hart of the cities center. It is a short walk to many of the cities attractions and restaurants. A very good place to stay in... More

Nice hotel in the heart of Granada's historic district. Everything you could desire in the old town is within walking distance. The rooms facing the street are great if you don't mind the sounds of the city. You will get a great view of the city life. Rooms are spacious although beds need an update. Breakfast is great and service... More

The hotel was clean and really well located for the main part of the city, easy walking distance to most things. The rooms are clean and serviceable but we found them real hot and when we opened the window the street noise belo made it difficult to sleep.

I stayed at the Carmen Hotel for one night as part of a Gate1 tour and was very satisfied. The hotel is near city center. Lots of shopping and dining opportunities nearby. Very good buffet breakfast. Free wifi throughout the hotel. My only small complaint was that the room was a bit cold and it seemed impossible to regulate the... More

Thoroughly recommend this hotel for its location. Central to all of Granada. Very clean, large comfortable rooms and a really filling breakfast. Staff on reception very, very helpful. Car parking available at a price but really useful. Staff park and fetch car. Shops and old town within easy walking distance. Rather surprised that they allow dogs.

My wife and I spent four nights here over Christmas as a base for exploring the city. The hotel is well placed to be accessible for arriving by car and for accessing most of the principle attractions. We parked there and left it for the duration of our stay. It is quite possible to walk to the Albaicin district and... More

Very nice stay. Only one night though, would have been happy to stay longer. Very comfortable, clean room. Ample water pressure in the shower. 4 English TV channels. Excellent included breakfast in the morning. Recommend the bacon & eggs! Also, very handy to shops including a major department store just across the street.

We stayed at the Carmen Hotel in Grenada, Spain in March of 2015. The occasion was a site seeing tour that we were part of. While the hotel is in a great location, and is clean, I didn't find the hotel desk staff to be particularily helpful.

Stayed one night at the hotel. The hotel looks old from the exterior but it is nicely decorated inside. It is very near to the main shopping district in Granada and the city's main attractions. 10 min walk to the Muslim quarters from the hotel too.
