Wonderful hotel (marble floors)near key sights and shops in Granada with roof garden and small pool.Staff so kind and helpful - roof garden in evening offers stunning views of Alhambra at night Our spacious room had no windows but huge bed and lovely bathroom and at such a good price ... Romantic but also child friendly

Firstly it is only fair to say that the staff were really polite and helpful and the main lobby, dining areas and roof terrace were of a high standard. However our family room was very poor: the AC did not work, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, we had a view of an internal shaft ( see photo), trapped pigeons... More

This hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to everything of interest in Granada. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool is indeed tiny and nothing like in the pictures, as other guests have pointed out, but adequate to cool off on a hot day. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with wonderful views of the Alhambra, but... More

Stayed here with friends for 3 nights with breakfast via a deal with British Airways. What a pleasant surprise. Value for money this place is excellent. In the middle of Granada with everything in walking distance. The hotel breakfast is very good. The rooftop bar is a big bonus. Wonderful views and a nice place to relax whilst catching some... We've spent two nights in Carmen Hotel in Granada and we left with mixed feelings. Our room on the 3rd floor felt a bit cramped and run-down, although the beds were comfortable, A/C ok. It definitely didn't look like the nice pictures that are on booking.com. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, but still they neglected to tell... More

Well situated with all attractions and shops within walking distance. Rooms were clean and had sufficient space. The pool is tiny and the pictures of it on the internet are deceiving. Staff were friendly. Generally ok but nothing too special.

The hotel is located in the city center with a lot of great restaurants, terraces and pubs to choose from. It has a great view from the top floor terrace and the beds are freakishly comfy. But that´s pretty much it. The staff at the reception was either very cold and they would barely talk to us. When they did... More

The Hotel is quite good located, you are able to reach all intresting places without taking a taxi or bus. At the terrace, on the top roof, you do not hear any busy noises. The pool is more or less a bigger bathtube.

Decent location, nice common areas, reasonable price, nice breakfast. Room tired, especially bathroom. Noise from other guests, staff bordering rude - 15 minute wait for check in with no acknowledgement. No smiles or hello's from any staff. No coffee making facilities in room, no water provided in room. Didn't spoil visit to Granada, but would try another hotel next time.

Our family of 4 stayed at Carmen Hotel in Granada. The lobby is more modern and updated compare the suite we stayed in. Room was clean and spacious, although the furniture could do with an update. The bathroom was huge (especially by European standards) and modern/updates. Breakfast buffet was included with the hotel stay and wonderful to start our day... More
