We spent 3 days in Granada as part of our honeymoon. The hotel receptionists had all the charm (read sleaze) of used car salesmen. The lobby area will deceive you into thinking the hotel is nice but as soon as you get to the room floors, it looks like a seedy hovel with dirty makeshift curtains as dividing walls etc.... more

Both my daughter and I loved our time at the Carmen. The airport bus (3 euros) took us to a stop about 100 metres from the hotel and, although we arrived late morning (with the idea of just dropping off our luggage before setting off to explore the city), we were allowed to check into our superior room. This hotel is certainly not worth its 4 star rating -- a tired, old hotel and kinda creepy. Everything costs extra -- security box and Wi-Fi.
