We visited at the beginning of February for my birthdayand we booked the best room in the hotel. It was very poky although it did have a terrace. The bathroom is absolutely terrible. The shower glass was broken and the water just poured out over the floor. The worst thing though was the loo. The huge loo roll holder pokes... More

4stars but at least my room with number 233 looks like 20years old... All there, all clean but when furbishment is so old or curtains are not hanging properly you just get a bit disappointed... Reception, bar, breakfast all professional and doing fine...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall, it was a fine hotel - everything was clean and in working order. The location was great so we could walk to everything. Unfortunately, while the hotel staff were friendly, they did not speak very good English. the gym was small but in good repair.

Extraordinary friendly welcome, room according to expectations and breakfast is superb. Hotel personnel attention at the front desk and at the restaurant was outstanding. Congratulations to all Managers and specially to Nunez, who provided guidance and directions to get to know the best places in town.

Centrally located with easy access to cafes and restaurants in the area. The restaurant offered a lot of varieties and staff were friendly. If I ever visit Granada again, it is my hotel of choice. We came during Easter time and the area was set for the festive season so the whole experience was enriching

I first started using Melia hotels regularly in Indonesia about 20 years ago. So for our trip to Granada we booked the Melia Granada. The location is excellent and the rooms standard for any seasoned business traveller. We had a potential "issue" and what was excellent was the professional approach by Carlos on the front desk. He is clearly very... More

Believe it or not our room had NO drawers! And if you come by car be careful to speed up the reception procedures otherwise the traffic wardens award you an hefty ticket. The hotel is clean, the rooms acceptable and the breakfast excellent. Perfect location in the city center.

We are familiar with the Melia brand and, whilst the hotel in general may be 4*, our room was certainly not to their standard. For our New Year celebrations in Granada (fantastic by the way) we'd booked a Guest Room, one up from basic, and were given 519. Our neighbours in 518, we think a Spanish couple with a lively... I booked the Melia in Granada because I had heard of this hotel chain and wanted something in the centre of Granada. I also was attracted to the fact that it is a four-star hotel chain. I booked two rooms - one room for myself and my husband - and another room for our 18-year-old son. I booked the first... More

We took the train from Ronda, on our tour of Andalucía, to the city of Granada and stayed at the Melia for 2 nights. The room we booked was advertised as a superior room with a palace view, in the event we stayed on the top floor yes with a view of the palace but you had to crouch down... More
