This is a great standard hotel with everything we needed. Comfortable, well equipped room with good WiFi. Bathroom good but towel rail inadequate. You couldn't really fit two towels on it but we coped. Location was perfect, right next to Plaza Neuva & considering how busy this area is, our room was pretty quiet. Apart from dogs barking first night!... More

Hotel Monjas del Carmen is in an excellent spot almost on Plaza Nueva, but in a little street behind some buildings, meaning it's very quiet. Old centre, Albaysin and Alcazar are right next door, although Alcazar is a steep walk up the hill, but it's easy to take a bus or taxi. The hotel is very clean, the rooms have... More

Very good rooms. Modern and bright. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated for the city centre and the Alhambra. A good restaurant is attached and you can choose when you'd want to eat there - no need to pre-book.

DISCLAIMER: We stayed in the apartments managed by the hotel and didn’t stay in the hotel itself, which looks great. So if you are reading this in anticipation of staying in a hotel room, please disregard the following. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon – tired from our car ride and hot from summer heat. While the folks... More

This is a hotel with a great location, right in the heart of Granada. The rooms are very modern, with an intelligent lay-out, and equipped with all the conveniences you need, including a safe. Everything is clean and fresh. The people working in the reception are very helpful and friendly, and are eager to help you in any way. Very... More

Great location, clean and tidy. Some noise in our room from the reception desk and outside bar (though the double glazing reduced this enormously.) If you are going to the Alhambra - good location to either walk up or catch the bus. Also for morning Alhambra visitors, nothing opens before 9am so take breakfast in the hotel - it is... More

It would be difficult to find a better location. The Alhambra and the Cathedral are within walking distance. But if one does not wish to walk, buses to all parts of the city have stops nearby. The hotel is small with no gym or swimming pool which was not a problem for us as we are usually too busy sightseeing.... More

We arrived at the Hotel easily after following the instructions they emailed us . It is in a very convenient area close to the Alhambra and restaurants . Ana on reception and was extremely helpful and as other guests have said gave us a map and directions to collect our pre booked tickets. The one problem we encountered was the... More

We spent two nights at this three star hotel. First the positive points - the front desk personnel (especially Ana) were very friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel is excellent-walking distance to many attractions including the Cathedral , the Royal Chapel, and the Albaycin, the breakfast (both continental and English) we considered a good value for the money,...
