The hotel was located very centrally and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful. Great having carpark right next door but the carpark ramps are incredibly steep and very tight! Be sure to have a small car if you opt for the parking.

There are very nice restaurant, delicious food , and friendly staff. The room andalusian decoder is fabulous. Its location is ok. I really recommend it. I couldn't find iron and iron table in the hotel.

Asked for a recommendation for a tapas bar but did not receive a good recommendation. They held our luggage all day as we did not fly out until evening, so was very pleased with that service. Very friendly reception and a good map was provided. Would stay again.

I stayed at Hotel Monjas del Carmen for just one night in June 2015 and I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Plaza Nueva and Granada Cathedral are around the corner as is the road to the Alhambra. Being tucked away in a side street, it was also quite quiet in the room. The breakfast was... More

We arrived in Granada to find that our booked accommodation was not what we expected and wasn't viable for us. We looked for an alternative close to the Alhambra and the Albaicin, and Monjas del Carmen fitted the bill. When we first looked in, the red-haired receptionist (unfortunatley I didn't catch her name) was happy to show us an available... More

The driving instructions to the hotel were very good, (even though it was hard to find some of the street names, you could look at the photos provided and see the buildings to look out for) so even in pouring rain, and on a motorbike, we managed to come straight to the hotel. Our room was a good size, comfy... More

Valid information *** The Hotel is well located, walking distance to the Alhambra side entrance ( if you already have the actual tickets . If you purchase them via net, redeem them at bookstore near by the Hotel) The rooms are okay for a short stay. The air conditioning works well. If driving leave the car at the Hotel-don't think... We stayed one night at this hotel and it was very pleasant. Staff is nice and the reception team speaks English. The room is clean, not too small and there's even coffee and tea available for free. Breakfast is ok, not better or worst than what we're used to have in Andalousia, you have enough choice between pasteries, breads, cheese... More

We stayed at the Hotel Monjas del Carmen for four nights, and it was one of the nicest, best value rooms of our month-long trip to Spain. Both the room itself and the bathroom were large and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was right near the roadway up to the Alhambra, and close to many restaurants and... More
