I stayed here as a solo traveller so I could easily visit the Alhumbra Palace and the Albaicin area of Granada. I thought I would shout myself 2 nights in a luxury hotel. I arrived by taxi from the airport a convenient trip costing around 25 euros. The reception staff were rather indifferent (I put it down to a single... More

My terrace could have accomodated a wedding. The staff was superb and the ammenities were terrific. The location on top of the hill near the Alhambra was terrific. A mini shuttle runs into town and back every few minutes. They allowed me to check out later, charged my kindle and phone after I left my room and were generally professional... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of an escorted tour group. We visited the Alhambra first, then walked a very short distance to this hotel. The building is an historic treasure; make sure to walk up to the mezzanine area (up the stairs from the lobby) to see the beautifully tiled, stained glass roofed booth (maybe a prayer booth?... We had a "middlin" experience at the Alhambra Palace Hotel. The front desk staff seemed indifferent compared to our other Spain & Portuguese hotel hosts. The rooms were in need of remodeling. The upholstered chair in our room had a large stain on it. When we checked into our room, the bathroom had a half empty, used shampoo container and... More

Having stayed at this very gracious centenarian hotel on a prior, our return visit was prompted by its location virtually on the grounds of the Alhambra. We had a comfortable stay and one more than very good meal on a Sunday evening on the enclosed portion of terrace off the main dining room. The venue attracts tourists in groups so... More

We stayed for two nights, and we were impressed by the level of service. As soon as we arrived in our rental car, our bags were taken to reception, and as we were checking in they had already recorded our license plate number and were ready to valet our car away. Then our bags were whisked away again to our... More

I had a bad experience at this hotel. Here's why: LOCATION - I choose this place because it is right by the Alhambra, and that was our primary reason for being in Granada. It's true that it's right near it, but even though we were only in Granada for one night, we spent a small fortune in cab fare because... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your comment. Thanks to comments like this we try to improve day by day. However, we would like to inform you that as in all the hotel, weeding celebrations happens. Nevertheless, the wedding’s guests are at the lobby for just 50 minutes. After that they go down to the salons that were soundproof... More

The hotel has two things going for it - the best view of Granada and it's proximity to La Alhambra. We originally booked a suite but this was a big mistake. The suites are the most expensive rooms but have the worst views!! Ours looked out over some rubble and a building site. Thanks to the outstanding service of the... More

Grand old world style hotel perfectly situated to walk to the Alhambra. Rooms were comfortable with nice amenities (toothbrush, shaving kit, shoe shine cloth) on top of the ordinary shampoo and lotion. We upgraded to a superior room with a view and it was worth every penny - the city of Granada sits at it's feet and sparkles at night.... More

The hotel is really quite gorgeous. Although it's quite large, it's set on a very small parking lot on hilly terrain, but I think that adds to its charm. It's less than 1/4 of a mile from Alhambra making this a good place to stay if you want to go to the palace and grounds for the day. Arriving at... More
