we stayed 2 nights in this lovely hotel in Granada. the location was excellent within easy walking distance of the centre of Granada. We found some very nice bars and restaurants close by. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed however it was an internal room which overlooked the internal courtyard and had no natural light, it was... More

Stayed overnight in this spotlessly clean hotel. It's in a lovely location and within easy walking distance of the centre of Granada. No parking and I would recommend not trying to drive around the old town. We parked our car in a 24 hour car park and took a taxi to the hotel which was fine. The room was clean... More

Excellent location just beside the stream at the foot of the hill the Alhambra is on, and thus a short walk to everything. We stayed in one of their housekeeping apartments, a bit further walk up the road from the hotel. They have done a good job of the renovation, and the apartment is very attractive, but they should stay... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment down the street from the actual hotel, so I do not know how the main hotel is like. The apartment was nicely furnished with full kitchen, washing machine and one bathroom, AIR CONDITIONING! WiFi was only in the main building not in this apartment. i think they were in the process of getting... More

We were recommended this last time we were in Granada by a bunch of US tourists who we met on the street so we went and asked to see a room which was fabulous with bath, separate shower, seating area, stunning views of the Albayzin and sooo beautifully decorated. Car parking rates excellent! Great pillows and smart sheets, good air... More

Very nice hotel, quite close to the Alhambra area and at the border of the Albayzin quarter. A nice and cool patio, a modern decoration in a pretty old house and, very important, an helpful and smiling staff. The only issue maybe the access, impossible by car directly (recommended: taxi or underground parking area 10 minutes away). Overall a very... More

We got the apartment few blocks away from the main building (Shine Albayzin has 2 buildings). Opposite of us is another block of houses. Shine Albayzin is near to city centre and is only 20mins away from Alhambra. The room we stayed was small, with a very old and "spooky" cupboard, bed was squeaky and imagination could run wild with... More

We had planned only two nights in Granada at this hotel. The main building was quiet and peaceful, rocked by the sound of the small water fountain in the center. Staff was very welcoming and supportive. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. As mentioned in other comments, the water temperature in the shower is sometimes inconsistent, but who needs... Shine was a prefect little boutique hotel. Our room looked up to alhambra from our tiny little balcony. The service was exceptionally good upon check in. The beds were very comfortable with a decent size room and bathroom. All very new and very clean. The location is also prefect. We weren't too fond of the breakfast on offer for the... More

The Shine is a Moorish style hotel in the Albayzin, with a view of the Alhambra. Booked one of the larger rooms facing the courtyard. Very spacious - requested twin beds. Beds were not plush but serviceable. View of the Alhambra was wonderful day or night. I would confirm if you are staying at the hotel or the apartments. There... More
