After eventually finding the sort of nearby carpark the hotel has an arrangement with (not the hotels fault, they gave excellent directions, it was our first day driving in Spain and got lost several times), it took us about 15 minutes of walking with bags in tow to find the hotel. It is a very subtle entrance, just a lovely... More

We stayed at the apartments associated with the Shine Hotel and were very pleased. Grenada in January is cooler than Malaga so bring a fleece or sweater for the evenings. There are heaters in the apartment and they were needed because of the cold tiles. The tiles would be welcome in warmer weather. The apartment was spacious(1C) and the balcony gave... More

It was very frustrating getting there. Despite talking with them by phone they failed to tell us of the festival that closed access. After 2 wasted hours. We got there. We liked it. Nice spacious rooms. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make good thee problem. Walls a very thin - you can hear your neighbor snoring... More

Good location in the old town, very nice building inside, huge bed, big bathroom, good wifi, nice staff. They offer a reduced 24 hour rate (15€) for the parking garage at San Augustin, which is a bit of a walk. We did however not feel too comfortable with the way the luggage storage is treated. There are no tags for... More

This hotel is in the old part of Grenada no cars allowed so you have to leave your car in one of the many multi story car parks, the rooms are nice and are all situated around an inside court yard. You can see the Alhambra palace from there and just along the road is where you can pick up... More

Very nice hotel in a historic building, located on the Carrera del Darro, with a fantastic view of the Alhambra. The building is very nicely restored, with a beautiful closed patio tastefully decorated. The rooms are well equipped and some have a great view to the Alhambra. There are a couple of rooms on each floor that do not enjoy... More

Spent 2 nights at the shine and what a stunning room. The hotel is located by the Darro river, under the shadow of the Alhambra Palace. We had a suite on the front of the property which was spacious and luxurious. Would stay again.

Incredible building, with modern rooms, we chose the standard room because I am a light sleeper and was concerned about the noise from the rooms facing the road, however because of the layout of the building the standard rooms have an inside window which means you can hear everything from the entrance below. So on the Saturday night I was... More

Spent 3 nights here in late October. Gorgeous room with 2 balconies looking up to the Alhambra. Our room had a coffee table and chairs along with twin beds. Also a very reasonable mini bar, complimentary wine on arrival and a coffee machine. It was a very spacious room. The whole hotel is just stunning inside. A very special place... More

Got free upgrade with view, and complimentary bottle of wine. Big rooms, comfy beds. Toilet/shower not much privacy, because doors are frosted glass. That's really only drawback. Park car first by cathedral for discount, then walk ten minutes to hotel! Great cafe few doors down "La Fontana". Went twice for breakfast
