We booked at Pension Matilde but they moved us to a kind of students dormitory called pension La Milagrosa. For 38 euros a night, I think they should offer a little bit more than an extremely noisy room with really old furniture and not clean at all. Bed sheets were clean as well as the towels, though there were hairs... More

If only staying 1 night this place is fine, I stayed 4. Close to cathedral and an easy walk to the sites. The room was clean, I had a shared bathroom which was ok apart from no soap to wash your hands. The wifi was hilarious, I only had a connection when sat in the shared bathroom. The cold water... Me and my girlfriend spent 2 nights there. We were treated really nice and they have all sorts of room, with and without bathroom, really clean and tidy. Walking distance from all the major atractions on this beautiful city. Really cheap, I recomend it.

At first sight I thought it was terrible. After walking in Granada I think it's not the worst place to stay. It's difficult to find a budget hotel in Granada centre because all the central places are miserable. The room was not very clean but at least it had clean towels. There was noise in the street and we did... More

It is not the best place, but according to the price, I was waiting for less. We paid total 100€ 2 people, from friday to Monday with bathroom inside our room, and in the city centre, historical area, so that was very good. The worst thing is that the place is a little bit noisy, we could hear pipes when... More

Pension Matilde was a good place to stay. The room was large enough, and although we had a shared bathroom there was a sink in the room which was helpful. We weren't travelling in high season, so the street it's on was not too noisy for us at night - not sure how this would be in summer. The couple... More

This place was terrible. Our room was on a slant, the sink didn't drain, one combined bathroom and toilet for about 10 rooms. We had requested a non-smoking room and the person in the room next to us smoked the whole time and it filled our room with smoke. We woke up in the night because of the smoke problem.... More

5 minutes walk from the Cathedral, lots of restaurant all around, wired Internet in your room. Calm if your alone in the pension, the rest depends on the respectfulness of the room neighbours; because the building has a lot of echo; so you ear everything that is going around. Ideal if you are travelling on a tight budget. I paid... More

We stayed for two days at Pension Matilde. It's in a great location, on a pedestrianized street in the centre of Granada with numerous shops and bars nearby. Service was excellent. Checking in and out were quick and easy. Our beds were very comfortable, with firm mattresses and the traditional Spanish sheet/blanket set that allows easy "climate control" during the... More
