We stayed at this ACSI site in our motorhome for 11 nights – longer than intended as we had a few days of rain. The pitches are small, not large enough to put up an awning, but we were there to see the sites of Granada. This used to be a Spanish family home 50+ years ago and the buildings... More

A great campsite. Yes it is a lil on the small side. Luckily the local campers were more than happy to help us in. Clean bathrooms, plenty of free hot water, toilet paper, great free wifi accessible from your van, local transport and a great bar meters from your van - what more could you want! Reception was very helpful... More

Everybody wants different things from a campsite but for us this place was perfect. Only about 30\40 pitches with a great pool, shop an excellent bar (with free tapas when you buy a drink) and kept very clean. If I ever get to come back to Granada I will definitely come back. Small city camping, pitches were the right size for campers or caravans. Clean toilets, ample hot water. The restaurant had delicious grilled veg., but expensive and below average meat and fish. Greatest plus was the fact that it was just a few bus stops from the centre of Granada.

We've just spent 6 nights at this super ACSI campsite. Some of the practical features that were important to us - great showering faciilities - hot, powerful & very clean showers, toilets (with toilet paper provided) & large clean wash basins. Separate washing up/laundry facility with hot water, large washing machines & v efficient dryer (laundry facilities 3 euros for... More

Just spent four nights in Reina Isabel and enjoyed it immensely. We knew from fellow caravaners that the pitches are small, but we were't there to hang around the site. The buildings and fittings on the site are charming, some a little on the 'shabby chic' side. Washroom areas were clean and always smelled fresh, water was always hot. The... More

We loved this campsite for its welcoming atmosphere and good facilities. It is true the pitches are not big, but everything else works fine. Good wi-fi, clean restrooms and a really nice pool overlooking the mountains. The on-site restaurant is very good. Excellent bus service to Granada and tickets to the Alhambra arranged on-site with careful explanation of how to... More

We stopped at La Reina Isabel, La Zubia as we wanted to visit The Alhambra, etc and it appeared well placed for this purpose. However, we soon discovered that the pitches are not made for staying for any period of time as they are too narrow to put out a canopy or to even sit outside comfortably. The toilet facility... A nice camping nearby beautiful Granada. The restaurant at the camping (similar name) is actually very good, maybe even a bit over the top. Other restaurants are a bit further away. The camping is very small and has an elegant swimming pool at the site. Sanitary facilities were clean and spacious except maybe for a low ceiling. I'd give it... More

We stayed at Reina Isabel early November 2011. Having driven all over Europe in the last 6 months and staying at various sites in many countries I happily consider Reina Isabel a standout. Bus #'s 174, 175, 176 and 177 (stop just 50m outside the campsite) take a 10 minute bus trip (€1.30) into the heart of Granada. Reina Isabel... More
