I spent 4 nights at the Abba Granada Hotel starting out as part of a Gate 1 tour and then on my own when my husband was hospitalized with food poisoning. The front desk went out of their way to help me makes calls out of the country to my insurance company and fax paperwork. The breakfast buffet was very... More

Easy place to stay but a bit threadbare. Room needed a couple of minor repairs and hotel could do with brightening up. One friend fell ill possibly due to eggs eaten fo at hotel breakfast. DInner was okay .TV pretty useless due to buffering ! Big supermarket Carrefour nearby and easy wide walkway down into town. So overall I would... More

My room is a two bed room but small in size, crowded and covers only basic need. Wireless connections unstable and not smooth. Takes long time to hook up connection but breaks easily. Breakfast - ok but can't expect more what continental breakfast would have. Reception service is a bit better in Engilish communication capability. Good location would be the... More

Dear Barry, we are very surprise about your comment because our beds have a measure of 2 meters long and 105 centimeters wide and we consider it a very large size, all our rooms are excellently heated and you can control the temperature. About the WIFI probably sometimes the connection could be a little bit slower because the day you... More

Convenient for train station, except there are about 10 steps to front door making huge suitcases a chore. Very welcoming and efficient English speaking reception. Room was on the 8th floor at the back, and recommended for city and mountain views, especially from the glass walled lifts. Large room and beds, although eco-lighting gloomy at first making progress into the... More

We stayed for a night in Feb 2015, and it was great. The staff are friendly, it's conveniently located next to the train station (a pretty easy 15-20 min walk to the city attractions), and the room is very spacious and modern. We were particularly impressed with the hospitality; letting us check in very early, complimentary gift waiting in our... More

Went to Granada for a short weekend from Madrid. Hotel is centrally located, about a 10 minute walk to the older part of town. Very modern and clean, room was nice, with a large bathroom, clean linens, and flatscreen TV. Very happy with stay. Highly enjoyed buffet breakfast Sunday morning which has a large variety of items, and well attended.... More

All in all not a bad stay for what you pay. My thoughts: Location: perfect! 15 minute walk to the main shopping area and cathedral. Easy parking at 15 euros per night. Bus line right in front of hotel. Train station a 3 minute walk away --super convenient if traveling by train. 10 euro taxi ride to Al Hambra. Food:... More

I chose the Abba for the price and the fact that I could see it was easy to access by car. Room did not have a view, but I went to see Granada not the view from the hotel. The reception staff were really professional, they also allowed us to check in early (at noon) and let us leave the... More

Very dirty, in the bathroom you could see the champions growing. We booked the junior suit, but it was not worth the prize. The breakfast was poor and it was very very loud. I would not recommanded this hotel, there are only groups in it.

Just back from the Big Trip - including 6 weeks in 6 countries in Europe, all by Very Fast train. Arrived at the Granada train station after dark, and found the Hotel easily, about a 5 min walk from the station. (It's a longer walk into town, but the public transport not far from the front door is excellent!) Reception... More
