I stayed here last weekend, it was a birthday treat from my husband. He booked The Fontecruz because of reviews he read on Booking.com. We drove from Portugal to Granada, it would have been helpful if we had been warned about the parking situation before we arrived but we managed to get into the underground parking eventually but were lucky... Hotel in the centre of Granada..in main street-Gran Via Colon..Right near the hotel, in behind famous Granada's street with old shops, restaurants and pubs with Arabian culture. Alhambra palace also very close to go. Hotel clean, rooms are bright and big-mine was at least. I booked normal double room. It has to be 17 m2,maybe it was but the disayn... More

The hotel is ideally situated in the center of granada and you can easily access everything nearby. I ended up having to pay an extra 80euros at night because the only room they had was a first floor room facing an alley and my mom is a light sleeper and I knew this was not gonna work for us. They... More

i spent 6 nights in this hotel, in June, this year. the check was ok because of the receptionist who spoke english and we could understand eachother (on a contrary, the other women from the reception were a dister). he was very polite and helpfull. the room was quite spacious but the bathroom area is not so private. the furniture,... We booked two nights as of may 5th to have time to visit the Alhambra and the city. When we got there, we realized the hotel was in a street where traffic is restricted; No such warning on the booking confirmation, and basically it means you need to drag your bags from the nearby parking. Then we were told that... More

The Fontecruz in Granada is a nice hotel. We had decent experience, especially with the concierge named Salvador who was outstanding, helpful and friendly. As for the rooms, they were not bad, but nothing special. A nice shower in the room and the beds were comfortable. That said, the shower leaked into the bathroom, the furniture was a bit run... More

We spent three nights here in May. Check in was seamless and no problem although it was nearer midnight before we arrived. The room was a good size and the fittings and furnishings were fine. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The bathroom was a decent size and had both a separate shower and bath. The water... More

Booked my room in septemer. 6 months after, a week before going there that have transferred my reservation to another hotel because there is a TWITTER congress next weekend and they need my room. And it is not an option. The alternative is a cheaper hotel even if being a 5 star hotel that is 3-4 stars really. Not in the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Not only is it next door to the Granada Cathedral and Royal Chapel, most major buses to the tourist attractions are nearby as well so it makes travelling really easy. Room-wise, the bed was comfortable but no coffee/tea making facilities. If you want boiled water, prepare to pay 3€. The bathrooms are... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Fontecruz Granada in July 2013. To be honest, I was apprehensive about staying due to the poor reviews on tripadvisor, but I found this hotel to be a good choice! I have no idea what others are complaining about. We got our room for about 75 euros a night and... More
