El Granado is run by a very friendly staff. Very knowledgable about their city ( much more so than the TI centers around town). We stayed two nights, very convenient location so that you can walk every where. We were very pleased with our stay.

We loved El Granado and would have gladly stayed there much longer if they wouldn't have been fully booked for Semana Santa. The bed was so comfortable... nice sheets... nice pillows... and maybe a memory foam topper or something along those lines. The best bed we've had in months of traveling. Upon arrival, we told them we didn't have Alhambra... More

We loved this hostel and I apologize for writing it so late. The location is great, we were able to walk here from the train station with our backpacks (though we did take a taxi when we left, it's a bit of a long walk if you have luggage). When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes for some... More

El granado is the perfect choice! The owners are incredible nice and make a huge effort to keep the cosy and pretty hostel organized, cleaned and fun! The community room and the kitchen are are very modern and comfortable. Also the breakfast is really good and for a fair price (2,50 and it contains everything you need). The rooms are... More

El Granado was one of the best "hostels" we've ever stayed in which, at this point, is saying something: best run, best facilities, friendliest and most helpful staff, etc. They were able to help us with the (at first) mysterious process of getting our tickets for the Alhambra and batted 100% on suggesting restaurants and places to see. We had... More

A friend and I stayed for 2 nights last October/2014. We chose a private room/bath. Glad we didn't have a car, not only for parking, but didn't need one in town and did fine without one. Hotel is very close to shops/action. Was very clean, well equipped. Freddie our host was welcoming and very helpful with what to see, how... More

I spent here two nights and the room and common rooms were great and warm, spending a very fair price. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast very nice and the position perfect for visiting everything. The bathroom was frequently wet and not completely clean, but I guess the reason were the other guests and not the hostel... More

A hostel set in a stunning building, staff and owners are very approachable and friendly. Location is great. Of course all these ingredients means it gets booked out quick, so make sure you reserve your stay in this beautiful gem of a hostel.

Stayed 2 nights in May 2014 (E50/nt) This is a hostel that caters to all ages. A bit tricky to find and park your car blocks away, but just need good directions. Room was small but clean. Overlooked small side street that you would have thought would have been quiet at night. NOT SO! Very noisy until the early hours... More

The El Granado is such a good Hostel. We stayed in a private room which was hotel quality. The staff were super friendly & helpful plus free breakfast. Everything was clean and had a great atmosphere. Expect hotel service and quality with the benefits of hostel activities, value for money and atmosphere. I would recommend this for anyone, families to... More
