We only spent one night at the El Granado, but were pleased with what we saw. Clean rooms, nice staff and cozy atmosphere in the common rooms. The place is located just a quick few minutes from the cathedral and the "plaza nueva". Very central, but still not noisy at night. The hostel has a deal with the parking at... More

With Granada being our first stop on our 2 week Spain holiday, and El Granado being the only Hotel/Hostel we were staying in (all others were personal condos), I was a bit hesitant on what to expect. From the first step in the door, the staff was absolutely amazing. Couldn't have been more helpful, kind and available to all needs.... More

We spent several days in Granada and stayed at El Granado. We were checked in by Mauricio who gave us a map of the city and pointed out several interesting sights and good areas to wine and dine. We had room H2, located in the top floor (for handicapped people, it is worth noting that this hostel does not have... More

I'm really glad we got the chance to stay here. In many ways, El Granado feels more like a cozy B&B than a hostel. Major pluses included the common areas, the squeaky clean bathrooms, and the central location. If you can, chat with Freddy the owner (?) He has a wealth of knowledge on the city and can point you... I stayed here for one night on my two days solo trip to Granada. I chose this hostel because it looked quiet, clean and well positioned. Other than this the young staff is really friendly, they speak well English and they're more than willing to help out with tips for the perfect places to visit. The hostel is quite small, which... My boyfriend and I had a great stay at El Granado. Check-in was easy and we were well-informed of the city and places to see by the staff. Our room was adorable and the bathrooms were shared and very clean! El Granado is in a great location and we highly recommend staying here!

I loved this hostel, it's one of the best places I ever stayed! The staff is super friendly, has a great knowledge about the city and a lot things to recommend. Location was great, right in the city centre, but not too busy or loud. Nice atmosphere and cozy common areas. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was great... More

Excellent location within walking distances of any amenities you might require. Hostel was efficiently run and have excellent facilities. The owners and staff were probably the main reason I would return, they were friendly and very accommodating. I am definitely coming back, highly recommended.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor, I was a bit disappointed with this place. It certainly is a good value in that the prices are extremely reasonable, but it is very bare-bones. My room was very cramped, and it was very tough to take a shower without water going all over the floor. There was no maid... More
