Makuto is a great environment! We were there for 2 nights, which wasn't long enough in Granada. I highly recommend going on the walking tour that the hostel offers for free! We had a great view of the Alhambra at sunset and got to see some of the cave dwellings. They also have breakfast which was just cereal and toast... More

Our staying here was simply terrific! Great staff, great service and great activities! We had a lot of fun and we were able to enjoy Granada even more because we were staying at Makuto! It is definally a place we would suggest and where we hope to go back as soon as possible!

The room are small but you've got all the space you need! The staff is cool and always attentve to your questions and give nice recommandations (what to visit, where to eat good tapas...) :) Just the fact to take your coffee in the morning on a hammock .. it's like paradise ! :) We recommand it without hesitation !... I stayed in Makuto for 3 nights in March and had a wonderful time. Really liked the open area in the court yard, made it really easy to chat to fellow travellers. The rooms were quite small, but that´s something to expect if you stay in historic buildings. Plus all you need them for is sleeping and storing your stuff.... More

I'm not sure where to start. I thought I did my research on this place and was actually very excited for the hippie atmosphere. I knew Sevilla would be extremely hot in July but I really thought that, by 2015, some sort of cooling system would have been integrated. By no means did I expect a central air conditioner in... One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend this for all backpacker hippies! Rooms are clean, common area with hammocks and treehouse is cool and staff really want you to have comfort stay. Only if you feel you don't want to be social, then you should choose another place to rest.

The perfect way to spend a few days in beautiful Granada- it's in an ideal, central position to wonder about and explore the city, and just as good a place to come back to and chill out with great people (in a treehouse!!) The staff were amazing- so welcoming and helpful and added to the relaxed vibes. The walking tour... More

You often go travelling and hope to maybe meet awesome people, but this hostel makes it so much easier! It's centered around a courtyard in the middle with a tree house (yes, you read that right), hammocks and an area to chill out with chairs and tables. There's also a room for everyone to chill out with sofas and guitars... More

One of the most unique hostels I've stayed in. Definitely full of character with some of the loveliest staffs on planet Earth! Shoutout to Joanna for putting up with all our questions, plans and generally, anything we needed! We didn't even have to make plans when we were there, they made it for us! Place is really clean, showers are... More

Book the hostel initially without much research / thought - just another hostel. But the 2 nights stay me and my friend had here is AWESOME and AMAZING. The staff here were so nice, welcoming, cheerful and helpful. They help us out in guiding route, booking and recommendations. The room we had is for 6 people - the bed is... More
