It's a Japanese inn with Japanese courtesy and hospitality. It's not a large commercial hotel. It's indeed small with about 10 rooms, and well-managed and clean. It also serves homey Japanese food. The food, as well as the hotel, is certainly unique in Europe. We stayed there for three nights/four days. On the last evening of our stay, we were... More

This is NOT a 2 star, better than most 4 stars in Spain! Wonderful host, try their dinner, they try hard to give great food and service. The 10 euro charge they try to get to use the jacuzzi is silly and we didn't do it as should be included as a vacation hotel . STAY HERE. it works for... More

Immaculate, the warmest welcome and staff who really care that you have a wonderful stay. Breakfast is stunning - a serene start to the day. The Japanese meal was amazing. Rooms have everything you might need - hair dryer, toiletries, clothes airer, extra blankets, safe. Reception can book trips to Alhambra (go!) If you have wheeled bags or big cases... More

Hotel la Luna Blanca is Japanese themed - and we upgraded to the Japanese room. Wonderful stuff. If we ever stay in Torremolinos again, we'd look out la Luna Blanca as our first choice; it's a short walk to the centre of town, but far enough away to be peaceful.

This hotel deserves much more than a two star rating. From the moment you arrive you are given five star treatment. Very well equipped hotel. The attention to detail is fantastic. Breakfast is good with a good selection of hot or cold food, including home made jams for your toast. We also tried the Japanese Dinner one evening. It was... More

Yet another visit to this small hotel which is within walking distance of the beach. There is a lounge and small dining area and small table where guests can eat outside . Also has a small swimming pool. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming and will even pick guests up from the station if travelling by train.

Super friendly staff/owners. Delicious Japanese food at breakfast, dinner and lunch but there's also an option for continental food. Well appointed rooms, comfy bed. A little bit of Japan in Spain. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Just leaving after 3 days at this fabulous, genuine, boutique hotel. In a very quiet location but only 5-10 minutes walk to the restaurant and beach areas. Incredible service - everyone made us feel as though they really cared about making our stay as welcoming as possible. Superb breakfast, beautiful pool area, very comfortable sun beds and everywhere immaculately clean.... More
