this was our 2nd stay here, even though most reviews were negative, our 1st stay here was good and yes it was a bit dated, but this visit , they have invested in bringing the place up to date, new doors with access card ( which also gives entry to beach gate), the room was spotless, and was cleaned every... Stayed for 2 nights at La Barracuda Hotel in November. Unfortunately, the weather was not good (obviously not the hotel's fault), but only to be expected in November. We reserved a superior room, which was on the 8th floor overlooking the pool and sea. The room was a good size but the carpet really needed to be changed as it... More

Excellent location. Room very clean, basic but perfectly acceptable, although not modern. No "extras" in the rooms, but you can hire fridges, kettles, safes and various other things from reception. Quiet, comfortable and slept well. Most negative reviews seem to be about the restaurant but can't comment as we never ate there.

We are expats and live in Spain (100km north of Malaga, 'the real Spain') Every so oftenwe take a break on the coast (out of season) as we did on this occasion. HOTEL Nice hotel but a bit tired, but then again this is reflected in the price. Parking was 12€ per day or free if you can find a... More

They literally threw our key card down on the desk and that was that! - no directions as to how we find our room etc. was disappointed that a safe deposit box was not able... More
