Negatives: Returned from the hotel on 6th March. I would like to agree with the previous comments of RaphaelEire in that the food is atrocious. Food is more of a 2 star standard, food cold, bacon cremated only identifiable by its DNA, sausages were the size of chipolatas and not a great deal of choice. Get the distinct feeling this... more

Location: Four star view over pool and Mediterranean. Picturesque sunrise from dining room. Access to promenade via secure gate, this is convenient to restaurants, cafe's local small supermarket. The Hotel Amaragua certainly lived up to its previous reviews. An an excellent hotel in every way. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom (with a bath!) and a good sized balcony, we had a side sea view but a good view along the promenade. The restaurant is on the first floor with a wonderful view over the sea.... more

It was a very good decision to stay in this hotel! Rooms are really comfortable. We had double room with side sea view (with big balcony). Everything worked fine (TV, safe). This is a clean hotel very conveniently located on the promenade between torremolinas and Benalademena. Clean rooms well looked after, nice bathroom. Breakfast good variety on offer with freshly squeezed juices, Staff attentive at all times. Big bright lights in the dining room makes it a bit impersonal and harsh at times. This hotel is fantastic - a great location right on the seafront, onto the promenade. The public areas are spotless and finished to a very high standard - definitely 4*.
