Dear All, My family and I stayed at Hotel Amaragua in April 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, from the lovely indoor pool to the late night strolls along the beach. The staff were friendly and made a clear and helpful effort. The pools and leisure areas were clean, although the outdoor pool was completely freezing(!), so the children... more

What a delightful medium size hotel. Great breakfast, rooms and pool area. We never expected such a lovely hotel and quite reasonable. We could not find any fault with this pleasant hotel with its great location right by the beach. more

Our second visit to the Amaragua was every bit as good as the first. Beautiful hotel, situated right on the promenade in La Carihuela ideal for strolling along to Torremolinos or Benalmadena. We had a spacious room with a balcony looking over the pool and the beach. The meals were excellent, a buffet with plenty of choice and something for... more

This is my fourth trip to Torremolinos, my first to this hotel. We loved the location. The front desk staff were very helpful - apart from the day we left when no-one really seemed to know if we could get any breakfast at 05.30 or not! Several of us ended up eating a dry bread roll and drinking black coffee... more

My father and i stayed at the Hotel Amaragua from 1/7-1/22 thru a package deal with Sun Holidays (another BIG thumbs up) and were VERY pleased. The hotel lobby is one of the biggest lobbies I've ever seen and was very neatly decored. We each had our own rooms that were very large with semi-private balconies that over look the... more

My spouse, 11 year old daughter and I just returned from eight nights in Andalusia. The first three and last three were in two-bedroom apartments in downtown Malaga and Sevilla, and in anticipation of everything in town being closed on Christmas Day, we booked Christmas Eve and Christmas nights at the Amaragua in Torremolinos. We loved it! It is tastefully... more

Have just returned from a 4 day break at this hotel with my other half. The best thing about it is definitely its location. If you think the Costa del Sol is all Brits abroad behaving badly and cafe's and restaurants serving English 'grub' then think again. This hotel was very Spanish literally a stones through from the beach in... more

I visited Torremolinos, Andalusia in the beginning of July 2008. Beautiful nature, admired architecture, very cleanly, sunny, hot - super! But: absolutely non-eatable food (everywhere in that region, not only in Amaragua); unattractive women -both local and tourists from Europe; nobody speaks English; SIESTA, cold sea water... As just for hotel Amaragua - not bad service, but our pool towel... more

We have returned to this hotel 5 times and each time the standards remain excellant. Ok the staff on reception may not speak much english but you are in spain. The hotel has a breathtaking entrance, the pool and garden areas are immaculate and the pool boy is very attentive. The bedrooms are fairly spacious and they all have a... more

I was in Spain with my school, and stayed in "****" (4 stars) hotels all over the country. I'll tell you about this hotel and other things. This hotel was amazing architecturally, and like the rest of Spain, marble dominated everywhere throughout the hotel. The rooms were nice, spacious. The bathrooms were CLEAN, towels were clean. (I am a bit... more
