We'll blame it on the renovations that had two thirds of the hotel closed and therefore only about 100 guests occupied the hotel, but a better effort could have been made with the meals, especially dinner for those of us that were there. Little choice, not very hot, not very appealing. This is a pleasant, comfortable hotel with a nice... more

Went to the Royal Al Andalus June of last year with my Fiance. There is not one thing I would complain about. We were felt very welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The room was gorgeous. Very spacious main bedroom, with massive bathroom. Our balcony was huge, overlooking the pool. We sat out on the balcony everynight... more

Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of February 2009 was on a weekend getaway with Partner. The hotel was set back from the main road, up a slight hill. It is set in it's own really lovely gardens with lot's of plants and really huge palm trees, I could not hear the road at all. The room was very... more

Me and my boyfriend went here, im 19 and he is 22, it was ok, everything pre-booked was fantastic. the hotel itself is well presented, i have a few issues with it though, i found that daily not only did i have to compete at 6am in the morning to put my towel on a sun lounger, but the local... more

hotel location is in the middle of nowhere, you have to walk at least 20 mins to reach torremolinos town center, the rooms are quite big with a large bathroom, large safe, all tv channels are spannish, balcony is a reasonable size, i could hear people snoring above me and next door to me. the meals were very limited choice... more

Stayed for 5 days in November at this fairly typical 4* Spanish Costa hotel. The food was the usual hotel buffet, fine for a few days but for longer stays I think it would get boring. Good size room with all you'd normally expect. A pleasant and roomy dining room, no danger of banging into the next table if you... more

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Royal Al Andalus in August 2008. We arrived in a rental car at 02.00, not a particularly good time you'll agree. However Torremolinos was still buzzing at this early hour and we had trouble parking. The hotel has a very small car park which operates on a first come first served basis. There is... more

We have just returned from a fabulous six day break having also stayed at this hotel over the New Year period, Don't let bad reviews put you off this hotel, it is very clean, superb garden and pool area, food excellent with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful. My husband and I tend to go to Costa Del Sol about twice to three times each winter and like to try different hotels. First Impressions: why were so many people standing outside front door in the rain. No smoking facilities provided at all, result was planters were being used as ashtrays. Other choice was balcony in the room which... more

We were quite apprehensive after reading some reviews, but was a fabulous surprise. The hotel was spotlessly clean, chic marble everywhere, gleaming floors all over the hotel. Our room was one of the best we have ever stayed in (we have travelled extensively) with huge bathroom, lots of wardrobe space and an excellent view. The food was good (others in... more
