Away from the hotel itself, sited between two roads apartments offer basic clean accomodation. The toilet was already broken on arrival, however it was quickly fixed. The usual 4 hangers in each wardrobe. Kitchen area looked basic but didnt use - the cafe across the street is fine and reasonable - dont be put off by the fact there all... more

We went Sun to Sat just my mum and me, got hol at reasonable price. 4star hotel B&B. Everything clean and new, very confortable, had good choice and standard of food. Area, right on beach, with long promonad stretching for miles either direction, luxury harbour area with yaughts and fancy resturants then the old town with beautiful views and shopping.... more

Stayed with family (elderly parents) in two studios (#607 and 612, 1st floor) end of January 2009 for 8 nights. The rate we got booking through the hotel's website a few weeks before travel was incredibly low: €20 per studio incl. breakfast (no pre-payment). We went to Tropicana Apartments 13th to 20th October. Myself,Husband and 12 year old. On first arrival I was quite dissapointed but when we got into the room I did feel better it was large and clean, yes it could have done with more cutlery and never had a kettle or a safe but it did have a pan so... more

Apartments are spread over the 2nd and 3rd floors. The bottom floor consists of tatty shops, a tatoo shop, car rental and the whole floor looked closed down and looked very scruffy.
