i visited marbella in october and staid at hostel paco for 1 night, and found their offer is really good considering how cheap they are.

Hostal Paco has INTERNET free now and it is right in the heart of the Old Town Marbella http://www.solchannel.com/andalucia/area-guides/coastal-areas/costa-del-sol-vi190.html this web has loads of videos on Marbella. The old town is pedestrian and quiet but night life is also there! Nice restaurants and pubs, like Zapphir just infront of Hostal Paco. Enjoy!!

Located in the old part of Marbella, a taxi ride to the bus station and 10 mins to beach front. Very friendly atmosphere, they speak no english so brush up on your holiday Spanish. No internet or room phone but ok if peace and quite suits. Air-con will freeze you.
