Just had 4 nights here with 3 pals in one of the penthouse 2 bedroom apartments accommodation only deal. The suite was excellent with bags of outdoor space a nice balcony/terrace and spiral staircase to a roof terrace with jacuzzi, sun loungers, b&q etc. The suite had a very useable kitchen with various breakfast & drinks items. The TV had... More

The pool is working again as is a form of room service. Bar area below and restaurants still shut and depressing but one or two shops at the front are open. Reception is a security person come out of hours check in person. Daytime check in is a small office on the first floor next to the lift which was... More

Pros: Rooms: clean, very spacious and luxurious apartment rooms. As a group of 3, we had a mini-suite with a double bed in one room and two single beds in another room, separated by a dining and lounging area. Our room had also two large bathrooms with each of them having two sinks and plenty of space to do your... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

Stayed in two separate apartments, both clean and well serviced. I believe that they were originally 5 star, but time has taken its toll and some items had not been repaired/replaced. For example, one toilet door was missing; kitchen units were falling apart, skirting was falling away from the wall. What a shame; the original fittings must have been expensive.... More

Very nice apartments! Short walk to the beach. The pool area was ok. But the hotel feelt like a ghost hotel, few people there and a lot of empty common areas and shoplocals wich are not in use in the building. It's a nice hotel, but i think it's had it's better days..

5 of us stayed in apartment 422 for a hen do in July 2013. It had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a small kitchen and a lounge/breakfast room. It also had a great balcony and a roof terrace with sun loungers and a Jacuzzi. It had great views, was clean and nice decor. We arrived late but security had our... More

The apartment was described as 5 star, with a price that reflected this, why do people thing they can mislead & take customers for granted. 1: no lights in the landings, 2: the Jacuzzi did not work ( the children were very disappointed ) 3: there was building work going on in one of the apartments on the Tuesday, Wednesday,... I particularly enjoyed staying at this hotel some years ago, before what is known as "el Crisis" hit the country. It appears that the Guadalpin group as it was no longer owns this hotel, and it is now essentially being run as an aprthotel in what was once a full 5 star hotel. TripAdvisor and Booking.com should update their reviews... More

This "Hotel" is closed down . They are simply letting the rooms . There is NO restaurant , NO bar , NO staff and the pool is used by seagulls . If you want a reasonably priced room in a deserted building then stay here . We anticipated "Jack Nicholson" appearing with an axe .
