I particularly enjoyed staying at this hotel some years ago, before what is known as "el Crisis" hit the country. It appears that the Guadalpin group as it was no longer owns this hotel, and it is now essentially being run as an aprthotel in what was once a full 5 star hotel. TripAdvisor and Booking.com should update their reviews... More

This "Hotel" is closed down . They are simply letting the rooms . There is NO restaurant , NO bar , NO staff and the pool is used by seagulls . If you want a reasonably priced room in a deserted building then stay here . We anticipated "Jack Nicholson" appearing with an axe .

The actual room standards are very good from an atheistic point of However it feels like the hotel has being designed by Lego ! Every room appears to inter connect even the balconies. Not good when you have two young daughters 12/15 who are next door to a group of guys drinking all night. Now don't get me wrong it... More

as I have visited this before and it was a favourite of mine, I noticed it was being offered online as a "holiday let".. I went along to have a look, all the facilities are closed and there was a single security guard around. As others have commented he only speaks spanish and seems to be a "security person" rather... The hotel and area are lovely. The only problem is the hotel is closed. We have a family member who owns an apartment there that is the reason we stayed there. I say the reason the hotel is still opened because some of the apartments have been purchased they even had to change the swipe card locks to key entry.... More

The actual hotel is better than the reveiws here and we would go back next winter. Not a very welcoming hotel but the rooms are great for what we paid. Food very expensive and if they were more realistic more people would stay to eat. Overall good hotel though.

Beware things have changed here!! I am currently staying in the Gvadalpin suites Marbella with my family, which was a holiday I booked directly through Expedia. After arriving yesterday when we had to wait almost 15 mins for a woman to arrive (from another location) at the reception with the room key, we have since found out from the internet... More

Given competition with Puente Romano and Marbella Club, the basic level of rooms here certainly does not compare - the others are far more luxurious. However, if you're travelling with a group of 4 to 6 people, I think there's no better place to stay, especially for the relative value. Suites with a jacuzzi are great and the presidential suite... Relaxing ultra clean hotel in the centre of the Golden Mile. Short Walk downhill to the beaches and promanades. Fantastic food and great deals in the restaurant, especially if you pre book. Spacious two bedroom, two bathroom with lounge, jacuzzi on the balcony and excellent views. Keep your eye out for offers, we had a most relaxing stay and would... More
