I stayed at the Gran Hotel Guadalpin this year with my sister and parents and have to say it was a brilliant place to stay. Located within a nice strolling distance for both old town Marbella, the beach and the promenade there is loads to see and do. The hotel itself was very plush, always clean and enjoyable. The pool... more

My family and I have just returned from our second visit to the Guadalpin Marbella. We were there last Summer and couldnt wait to return again. We booked the family sunshine holiday deal which included welcome drinks on arrival and fruit basket. We were booked into a two bed superior suite with jacuzzi. On arrival we were welcomed by very... more

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in the presidential suite. The hotel is right on the beach and our room had superb ocean views from the bedroom/balconies, etc. There was also a small kitchenette. The furniture, sofa cushions (inside and on the deck) are very tired. A true 5 star would not permit this. There are... more

If it had been my first time to this hotel I would have thought it was reasonable for a five star hotel! However we last went two years ago and the difference was apparent. Previously you would get fruit kebabs by the pool as well as cold towels to help with that hot spanish sun!! The breakfast was also in... more

We are just hot back from the Gran Hotel - having taken the tutor - along with my two boys. The brief was good value four/five star hotel, working space for tuition - no computers, no noise, lots of swimming, great food and lots of sleep - ie. all that the average 12 year old doesnt want or get during... more

5 happy days here in March. Rooms were amazing. Staff excellent and very good food both at breakfast and dinner. Short walk to the beach but lovely long promenade all the way to Marbella town. Also short taxi drive to Porto Banus. Would definately go again more

I just had a fabulous 3night stay and was overwhelmed by everything about this hotel! 6 of us stayed in a 3 bed suite, 2 ensuite and main bathroom, also small kitchenette and sitting room/diner. There was a balcony AND a roof terrace with jacuzzi! The room was 5 star!! The service in the hotel was exceptional. The jacuzzi would... more

We spent a week at the hotel in September where my 2 sons and girlfriends joined us for 4 nights. Whilst we had a wonderful holiday as part of a 14 day tour of Andalucia - this was due to having good company and not because of this hotel. The hotel is ranked as a 5 star hotel - which... more

We had to stay a night in Marbella for business. The hotel I wanted to stay in (in the very centre of the old town) was full so I had a quick look that the Guadalpin tariffs, really expecting them to be far too high. However, I was amazed to discover that a 'Grand Comfort' double room with breakfast was... more

I stay here quite often when on business in Marbella, I like it because the rooms are large and have a "kitchenette" so I can make coffee or microwave a snack if i don't feel like going out again. The builders of the hotel were a little careless and many of the rooms have loose plugs/fittings etc. (theres a whole... more
