What a shock when we arrived , reception very dated and dusty and the young man who checked us in very rude peaking to others at the same time. Rooms not any better very old and worn, maids very nice and rooms kept clean with fresh towels daily. Food very poor warm salad and raw chicken and pork staff rather... More

Well all l can say is most of you must have such high expectations. We just spent 10 nights in this Hotel. I dont know where the unfriendly staff were, every single member of staff was friendly and helpfull. I cant fault, the staff whatsoever they all bent over backwards to meet our requirements. The pool lifeguards were brilliant always... More

The rooms are not the worst I've ever been. At least while I was there the towels were changed every day and every day the room was clean. Pools were well cared for. The nightlife, needed to be revised Even bad, and in need of urgent attention, just even the food.

Bad. 1) room very old not much place to put your stuff, draws too short. 2) food, practically inedible, everything the cheapest variety or what ever it was, had buffets before but at least staff bring your tea and coffee, here yoi have to... Stayed in this hotel only because it was close to where my friends were getting married. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. I was booked in for 3 nights with B/B but could not face eating the food. How it is rated 5 star I will never understand.

Friendly staff, maid service daily. Any queries were dealt with. Pleasant grounds. A pleasant walk to the beach and local bars and restaurants within walking distance, particularly recommend Elviria just across the main road.

Just got back from Las Chapas yesterday evening. We had read the reviews before we arrived so expected the worst. Go with an open mind. Some of the staff were rude but majority were fine and helpful. The food was very basic but edible however breakfast was the worst meal if you are all inclusive. Our room was very old... More
