This hotel is situated on the main busy road between Malaga and Marbella. The noise from the traffic is never far away and to mask this the hotel constantly plays music to try and drown the noise out, I don't know which was worse, the wailing music or the vehicles! It is fairly large in size with a number of... More

This is a budget hotel and not suitable for families or those expecting luxury. We visited for a week in March 2014 and found the staff very friendly and helpful. There were 20 Brits staying and 160 plus Spanish Pensioners on a low budget holiday. Meals were poor quality but eagerly devoured by the locals. Room was basic but clean... More

We stayed here in April 2013 and would advise anybody thinking about going in April to think again, the hotel is taken over by the locals, we booked 10 nights all inclusive & ate 3 times in the place they call a restaurant, the rest of our meals were taken outside the hotel as the food was terrible. We decided... More

March is definitely not the time to visit either Spain or this hotel, it's cold, the pool is closed, there's mostly senior Spanish citizens everywhere. The hotel is quite big, the building and interior is quite beautiful, there's a store and few restaurants near it, the beach is also not far away, however you have to cross the motorway to get... My partner and I visited Marbella back in October 2013 and I since then have failed to write a review on this establishment. I can't call it a hotel. The reception staff are useless and speak no English. Marbella is a 15 minute taxi journey away, and the beach is a good 1.5km trek. The rooms are ghastly. Dated. Dirty.... More

Recently returned from a week here. The hotel had only opened the day before our arrival and for the 1st 2 days there were only 10 residents and then the bus loads of Spanish OAPs arrived and they didn't stop coming. We did feel very like 2nd class guests following the invasion, The non Spanish guests were in the old... More

We made the mistake to book 3 nights stay at Las Chapas in Marbella and I assume this is the most horrible sleeping experience I have ever encountered. (Even, when I count sleeping on floor next to a toilet in a train from Bologna to Brindisi in overloaded train back in 1985). Every night the oompah-pah-pah started around the time... More

This hotel(rated 4 star by Low cost holidays)was without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.The pool is only open during the summer period also the poolside bar is closed during the winter season. The free bus into Marbella has to be payed for and the free bus to the beach is non-existing. The food is awful and there... More
