We stayed in this hotel for one week from 17th - 24th May 09 on a half board basis. It is in the perfect location close to the beach, beautiful old town, bus stops to travel up and down the coast, shopping, all forms of night life. I would have considered it above average for a 3 star hotel, it... more

We recently visited the El Rodeo for a weeks holiday. We found it to be great value for money. The location is excellent 2 minutes to the beach and 2 minutes in the opposite direction to the Old Town which was quaint, very spanish feel with it narrow streets, whitewashed buildings with window boxes full of bright flowers which were... more

To be fair to the El Rodeo after Sunny Smiler's rather damning review, I have to say that we spent 10 days there in early August as a family of three, including a five year old, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We wanted a hotel in the centre of a thriving city, handy for walking to the Old Town... more

Being fed up with the English "summer" weather of 2008, I wanted some warmth and sunshine wihout paying a huge amount, so decided on a 10 day stay in Marbella to soak up some sunshine. And I'm so glad I did. I stayed at the hotel El Rodeo from 30 Aug 2008 and chose it after reading Trip Advisor reviews... more

We stayed in the El Rodeo from 31st Aug - 7th September, just returned. I know what it is like to read reviews on where you're staying, so I thought I'd write an honest review. Where do I begin.. well lets start with breakfast. The bread rolls were rock hard, the bacon rashers tasted of fish, had to spit out.... more

We booked this hotel having read other complimentary reviews and have to agree that we and our 2 boys aged 16 and 14 had a wonderful week-long stay here. Our friends had just come back from a week in a five star hotel in Marbella and we looked at that one and couldn't justify the expense (twice the price at... more

Myself and 4 of my closest friends recently spent a week at El rodeo, we expected very little from the hotel from the reviews we had read, but were pleasantly surprised of how great the hotel was! The location is perfect, close to everything, the beach is less then 5mins walk, there are many restaurants and bars close by too,... more

After reading reviews on here I was worried about what to expect. We found the reception staff friendly, more the men than the women. The breakfast food we had was nice and included bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, cereal, pastries and fruit which were topped up if running low. There was plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters like... more

We booked the hotel last minute and read the reviews beforehand. It was OK. The room wasn't bad, the location is marvellous, 5 minutes walk to the beach and 4.50 euros for a sunbed. Around the corner are loads of shops and buses. 5 minutes walk to Orange Square where there are loads of shops and restaurants . The pool... more
